"This is a very clean, basic but nice hotel. It both looks and smells clean. The 8+ rating was well deserved. The staff are helpful and accommodating despite some frustrating things going on - an icemaker was out necessitating a trip to the third floor if you wanted ice, the elevator crapped out - but the staff handled it well and apologized profusely. Housekeeping was really nice as well.
I felt safe staying here as a solo traveler.
My only issue here was not in any way in the hotel's control - there was a LOT of traffic/road noise and a number of very loud people in the halls one night. The next night at 2 am, they very loudly emptied the trash at the diner next door, complete with clanging bins and back-up alarms, so I didn't sleep great either night I was there. That said, the bed was comfy, the room was clean and I enjoyed my stay otherwise.
Decent breakfast but it ends early (930).
Lots of nearby stuff for breakfast if you miss it as there's a McDonalds not too far away as well as a Starbucks."
