A perfect holiday home

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. It is in such a lovely location with walks straight from the door but also very close to Tolmin for the beautiful gorge and numerous other walks. Thank you so much!

The house was clean and comfortable and the caretakers were awesome. It is located in a spectacular part of Slovenia near the mountains. You have to get used to driving the roads because there aren’t very many straight sections. Čigijn is a charming village and the restaurant in town is excellent.

Summer stay

We had a good time in Slovenia, loved the many opportunities to enjoy the Soca river. The house is lovely and the view very nice. We missed a garden or terrace to sit outside, but that was not too big a problem.

Beautiful spacious house

Lovely old house with beautifully renovated large rooms. Set on a hill at the back of the village overlooking the countryside beyond. Not much outdoor space, but a nice seating area at the front & rear of the house for outdoor dining, etc. Great location for exploring the Soča valley, with pleanty of local walks & river swimming opportunities.

Comfortable country house in a small village in the beautiful Soča valley

Comfortable country house that had everything we needed. Patrick, the host, answered any queries promptly. Small village with a pizza restaurant, supermarket in Tolmin, approx 5 mins drive. Easy access to lots of activities in the Soča valley - walking, cycling, rafting, river swimming…… A wonderful holiday.

Familienurlaub in Ciginj

Tolle Landschaft, nette Leute.

Ruime vakantiewoning, authentiek Sloveens
