I love the family atmosphere of this hotel. I am always comfortable and warm in winter and there's a lot of restaurants within a short distance. Easy to find and has TV's in each room with a shared bathroom. It's an old pub and the management staff are great.

Some of the Tennants do not have respect to not stomp around & make excessive noise during normal sleeping hours. Some of the floorboards do squeek as it is an old building, but people could do more to minimise noise. The lady there who is the caretaker does a very good job considering the type of people who come & go. She does a good job.

Bathrooms were disgusting and unclean. used towels laying everywhere. Bed was hard. Pillow super thin.constant Loud noise all night. Balcony was closed early so unable to smoke. Nothing online to say it closes early.
Kitchen was dirty and had other peoples food laying everywhere. Fridge was completely full so was unable to use. Wasn’t given a towel. Will not book through there or advise anyone to again
