“This was an incredible place to stay! The hosts were the best we have had to interact with. The area was full of things to do. We played golf at the Sebasco Resort twice during our stay. You can’t beat getting lobsters at Watson’s General Store on Cundy’s Harbor. The Friendly Cottage had all we needed to cook and prepare all our culinary needs. We will be back!”

“This is our second time staying at the property and it was just as wonderful as the first. Close to everything you might want to do for hiking and excursions but once you're sitting on the deck at the lake you really feel like you've "gotten away". Appreciate the full kitchen and towels and linens for the house. Hope to be able to return again in the future. ”

“This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. “Location 10/10. Nice grassy area directly on the water. We were able to walk to the harbor front & shops (5 mins). Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were adequate. Towels plentiful. House is older & eclectic… we loved it! Super quiet area. Fun fact: there’s a shipwreck in the water right outside the house, visible at low tide.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! This cottage is a peaceful gem — pure bliss from start to finish. We enjoyed paddleboarding every day and the canoe was perfect for exploring the water. The cottage itself was cozy and charming, with unique touches that made the space extra special. We especially appreciated the privacy, it felt like our own little retreat.The only thing to note is that the bees and mosquitoes can be a bit active, so just come prepared for that.Overall, it was an amazing stay……

“we really enjoyed our stay. we were staying to celebrate a bachelor party weekend and it was perfect for what we wanted. plenty of bathrooms to get ready and we really liked the huge living area for us to all comfortably hang out in together. the place was exactly how it is described. would definitely recommend for any large party whether a bachelor party or a family. ”

“Our group of longtime women friends had a fabulous time in this beautiful spacious house with lovely views! The outside deck and the floating ( at high tide) dock were great places to gather! The location was perfect, close to town yet private. The kitchen was well supplied and easy for many guests to work in. We would absolutely stay here again! The owners were easy to communicate with!
