「We were warmly welcomed by our hosts. Was a real treat to experience their bath and tea ceremony. Breakfast was traditional and tasty and my partner’s vegetarian alternative was just as thoughtfully put together and delicious. Location was a little way out from the main sights, however, this was better as we were in a charming neighbourhood with many authentic buildings and character away from the busy tourist areas. 「Excellent hotel in a beautiful and old building. I believe it was a tea house long ago, now renovated and modernized into a hotel. The staff was very helpful. There are several bus stops nearby, so getting around Kyoto was easy. 7-11 is a few doors down in case you need a quick snack.」

「我來京都旅遊三次，而「田屋旅館」是我目前內心排行第一名的旅館，從入口進來會通過一個竹子小徑，彷彿闖入世外桃源，田屋不管是白天還是晚上都非常安靜，對於非常怕吵的我來說，這裡真的是相當適合我，可以不受其他旅客的干擾，好好享受京都的寧靜。 另外，住宿含的早餐也非常好吃！！讓我實現了像日劇情節一般在家品嚐日式早餐的心願，真的很愜意、很享受。 老闆娘人也很好，儘管語言不是很通，但老闆娘都很有耐心的跟我講解疑問，房間也很漂亮、整理的非常乾淨。 附近也有超市、大創、UNIQLO、便利商店，很好逛～而且步行一小段路就可以搭乘50號巴士去玩。 總之，在這裡我找不到可以挑惕的地方，有機會我一定會再來玩！！」

「客房清潔度很好，和家人訂了兩房 ，都獲安排住尾房，不同層數。房間隔音效果略差，隔離物資提供房間，取冰等，晚間不時發出聲音！床有搖晃感覺，不太舒服！」

「附近都是住宅區，所以晚上很安靜，雖然都是木板隔間但是住客都很安靜，所以對入睡不會有干擾。老闆還會舉辦一些歡迎活動，很用心地讓客人有回家的感覺，附近店鋪很少所以用餐會需要跟民宿租借自行車（很便宜）前往。 附近還有個古老的澡堂，也很推薦前往嘗試。」
