Before i booked with this hotel it didn't state that they're garage parking was only big enough for admaller veichles. I drove from calgary to Toronto, on the way there was a highway closure due to a snow storm which made it impossible to make it in time for my first night booking which i was charged for. Once I arrived they mentioned my suv wouldn't fit in there parking garage, but they had limited parking spaces outside the hotel which were already full. I had to then find parking on my own and ended up parking on the road with other veichles later to find out that you weren't suppose to park there so i got a ticket. After finally getting into my room first thing i wanted to do was take a hot shower the hot water wasn't working and they said they'll send the maintenence guy. Once he came he didn't fix the issue and i said to leave it as i was exhausted and said I'd talk to reception about switching rooms in the morning. The balcony door was broken and wasn't closing properly as well. Elevators take forever as the hotel is full of families, which is understandable but still very frustrating. Won't be booking again.

We have stayed here many many times over the last 20 years and the property is in real decline. It’s an old hotel but doesn’t have any of the charm of an old hotel. Broken toilet, leaking taps, no air conditioning, rude staff, paper thin walls, under multiple renovations. It was a really disappointing stay for us and I don’t think we will return.

Part of the problem was that I wasn't aware that it would be March break in Ontario when I booked this hotel, so that was my fault. Usually the breaks don't match up to where we are coming from. But the hotel was BANANAS. My kids were really looking forward to the pool/waterslide but during the 2 nights we stayed, we were only able to sign into the pool for 50 mins (at 10pm!) once and it was so crowded that it wasn't enjoyable. The hot tub was full of toddlers (like 8-10 at a time) even at that late hour. The room was a decent size and clean enough, but the cold water tap in the bathroom didn't work, the kettle didn't work, the shower was extremely difficult to control (to the point of scorching) and the balcony (inaccessible) was COVERED in cigarette butts. It was truly disappointing. There weren't enough pillows for all 4 of us. I feel like (possibly) some of the room have been renovated recently and we may have been sent to the old, unrenovated part that isn't used unless the hotel is very full? I'm not really sure, but I would say that if you are looking for a hotel in this price range and neighbourhood, go stay at the Holiday Inn next to Maple Leaf Gardens, it has a better pool anyway (no waterslide, though.)

Great spot. Very central location to downtown. Also good if you need to stay for the hospitals. Its an 8 min walk to most of them. Properly was a bit dated. But well kept and very clean non the less. Staff were very helpful and polite.

The contactless check in and out were very convenient, I was able to check in/out in less than a minute. The pools and water slide are very cool. Great location, steps away from TMU station and the Eaton Centre. Very clean room. The red elevators were quite slow, but it was also very busy in the hotel due to March break and two conventions in Toronto so can’t complain too much. I can’t speak for the other coloured elevators. Would come back!

Loved the location. 2nd time staying here, this time specifically for the adult-only pool because we wanted a more quiet swimming experience and a break from a job that involves screaming kids.
