Hotel was undergoing renovations so they transferred my reservation to the St James Hotel at 26 Gerrard St E. This hotel was excellent. Would stay there again. Not sure about Econolodge. Hence the OK ratings.

Good Small Hotel

We booked a couple days before for a last minute trip. It was exactly what was expected for the price, very clean and decent location everything was a short Uber ride away from the hotel. Would come here again without an issue.

I liked that it wasnt a lot of traffic in the area but was still close to all the amenities. I wasnt impressed with the breakfast. It was supposed to be a full breakfast but was only a small continental

Fine for an inexpensive place, nice that they provide a continental breakfast. Noise from hallways very loud in your room. No robes, but shower was nice. Products provided aren't great so I'd recommend bringing your own toiletries. No parking on site, have to walk about a block. A cool free garden is next to the hotel you can walk through all year round.

Stay at econolodge is over all good hotel service is excellent all staff were very friendly everything needs is near or short distance .by location I recommend this hotel to fist visitors of Toronto, there is one deficiency which I noticed that The breakfast is not likely for most of visitors so hotel management must include more in breakfast anyway overall scoring is 8 during our stay Thanks

Reasonably priced hotels, those under a hundred dollars per night, are hard to find in downtown Toronto. In that context, EconoLodge is outstanding. It is not big on amenities beyond a simple but sufficient complimentary breakfast, but our room was large, the bed super-comfy, the bathroom clean and well-stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and the shower was hot with great water pressure. Our room faced Jarvis Street but was quiet all night long. Happy to recommend this hotel to those who want simple, value-oriented accommodations.
