The room was quite nice, other than the bathroom - I did feel like it needed a deep clean, some fixtures showed wear and tear. The tub is huge (very deep) however the shower was barely a dribble - no pressure at all.
The real problem I had was with the customer service. I made a mistake when I booked the room (wrong location) and asked (pleaded) if I could cancel - this was months in advance. I was refused. I understand that I did book a non-refundable room, however it was an honest mistake, again months in advance of the booking, there could have been some flexibility.
Fast forward to the day of the booking, I was charged again, for the full room. I contacted the hotel and was told I had to contact Expedia - even after I explained I had fully paid for the room - they should not have charged my card that they took for the deposit! Again unwilling to help - Expedia was able to help and got the mess sorted very quickly for me.
Overall the room was fine, service was not - and for the price I would have expected more.
