Therapist in energy treatments & "well-being" (services possible on site), Christelle welcomes you in a charming Bresse farmhouse from the 19th century, carefully restored - with traditional architecture in bricks and half-timbered - located on the edge of fields & meadows (welcoming peaceful Charolais in season), close to a bucolic river full of fish and a small wood. Quiet environment, in the heart of a rural & agricultural hamlet nestled in the heart of the Bresse Louhanaise countryside, between the countryside & fields of crops, 2.5 km from the small typical village of Torpes (home to 3 protected natural areas, classified as ZNIEFF). Spacious lodging of very good comfort, of atypical architecture (vast semi-open space occupying the whole floor in "loft" spirit). Warm country character enhanced by the rich traces of the original building (sculptural framework nestled under an imposing "cathedral" volume, brick walls & half-timbered...). Exotic atmosphere of an old residence steeped in history. Lots of charm & character. Very complete equipment. Large panoramic terrace overlooking a pleasant 700m² garden (vegetated, trees & flowers) & the gentle surrounding countryside (completed by a second gravel terrace). Nice clear view. Possible visit to the chicken coop next to the owners & its small farmyard (hens, roosters, geese, ducks, etc.) for the pleasure of young and old. Composition: House adjoining the owners' home (total independence without vis-à-vis). Wireless. Heating wood stove. Atypical & very comfortable gîte set up in a charming traditional 19th century Bresse farmhouse, perfectly restored - nestled in a pleasant 700m² garden - located in a quiet area in the heart of the Louhans countryside, on the edge of fields & meadows, in the heart of a small rural hamlet located 11 km (equidistance) from the charming typical & commercial villages of Pierre-de-Bresse and Saint-Germain-du-Bois (renowned ecomuseum & many amenities on site). Soothing rural & natural setting surrounding (to explore during invigorating walks on foot, by mountain bike or by bike) in the hollow of a vast wooded plain nestled at the foot of the first mountainous foothills of the Jura massif (very close), neighboring several preserved areas classified as "Natura 2000 Zone" or ZNIEFF (for the quality of their rich ecosystems). Bon séjour à torpes à l’ombre des acacias

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Torpes - le gîte est agréable et bien équipé. Sa localisation permet d’être au calme et invite à la déconnection. La terrasse est très agréable pour profiter des soirées à l’extérieur (ainsi que le barbecue mis à disposition). Voyageant avec un bébé, nous avons apprécié la mise à disposition de la chaise haute, petite baignoire, lit parapluie … La proximité des gérants et leur disponibilité facilite l’interaction. Merci 🙏
