“Really quaint b&b with historical background; very helpful staff; enormous bed; fantastic breakfast; dog-friendly; decor just needed refreshing! But a lovely overnight stay.”

“The ship is unique because of its position in mevagissey. The room was not spacious but adequate for our needs. In the bathroom was a fairly new shower which was great apart from there was no place to put your soap or shampoo. The breakfast was cooked to order and like the evening meals were excellent. The pub has been taken over by a lovely couple called Alex and Noah and along with their attentive staff I believe they will make it a great success”

“Had a pleasant one night stay with my partner, as our travels took longer than expected we were about to miss the check in time. When I called them, Sophia was brilliant, guiding me how to check in outside of the check in time and giving me her contact details for any problems arising. Once there everything was smooth and the rooms were charming!”

“Lovely family run pub which I've stayed at for work previously. Rooms are very large and have everything you need. Had a fantastic pie for dinner and breakfast is very reasonably priced. Great value accommodation for the Liskeard area with friendly staff.”

“I paid higher price for a room with a private bathroom, unfortunately the private bathroom is not in my room, my wife and I had to walk across the public landing, passing another room door, to get to the “private bathroom”. There are small insects too, we don’t mind the spiders, but the flies are quite annoying.”
