"Charming place, we hadn’t realised how good the sea views were/are. Nicely located being a short walk from Babbington centre with the rest of the English Riviera easily accessible. Heating and hot water both fine, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen (even washing up without a dishwasher didn’t seem like a chore with those views!). We had an issue with the WiFi which the owner worked to resolve, sadly without success. But Sunny Bank is a great spot in a great location - recommended"

"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

The Trecarn Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"All staff on reception in the Friday night and Saturday at 10pm ish was helpful and kind. Bar man on Saturday very friendly. Hot weather so hot rooms. Had a dab but still hot. But still nice and good parking around and easy walk. Would use again."

Lincombe Hall Hotel & Spa - Just for Adults

"Hard to find fault with this hotel. Our only gripe was that there was no shade by the pool, even with umbrellas at certain times. We had to drag our sun loungers under a palm tree (which was great). The hotel is absolutely immaculate. Everything is perfectly designed and placed masterfully. Every inch. Breakfast is just too good. It has absolutely everything you need and at the highest quality. Spa? ridiculously good. One suggestion: put at least one umbrella outside the spa. In a heat wave, the spa gets super humid and going outside has a nice breeze but you're right in the sun. It would make for a great break from the humidity if you could go out the side door and chill on a lounger under an umbrella. Oh, one more gripe - parking. Ten quid per night feels punitive. We parked up the road for free."

"Best outdoor swimming pool (with views) in the country, for sure. But that's about it. No air con at all, so sleeping is out of the question during a heat wave. Literally slept naked under a wet towel with a fan on full blast next to the bed. Avoid the third floor - it gets hotter by about 3 degrees with each floor. Staff had zombie faces. No one smiled. Worse coffee you'll have (and small). No fridge in the room - essential in the summer. Parking is great though, free and easy. Breakfast is mediocre. But again, it's worth it for the pool."

"The Imperial is situated in an ideal position a 10 min walk from the harbour, our room was large and airy with the bonus of a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful whether it was reception or the restaurant or bar, breakfast had something for everyone and all eaten while overlooking the sea and harbour. It may need a little updating but it was nevertheless a lovely hotel and I will definitely go back."
