"We stayed one night at Alhambra B&B Guest House di Charme and had a very good stay. We received a friendly welcome and a tour of the property when we arrived, and everything was easy from that point on. The property is small, green, and well maintained, and the whole place feels calm, private, and well cared for. The saltwater pool was the highlight. It has underwater jets plus two jets above the water line: one wide jet and one narrow jet with strong, concentrated pressure. The salt water was pleasant to swim in and the jets made it very easy to relax. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay, and the showers have good water pressure, which is not always the case in this type of accommodation. Breakfast was great and matched the standard of the rest of the property. One practical note for future guests: staff are not permanently on site. When we arrived we were unsure how to get in, but we pressed the door buzzer and a member of staff drove over within a few minutes, welcomed us, and opened the gate so we could drive through to the private, gated car park, which had plenty of space. After that everything ran smoothly, so new arrivals should simply expect to use the buzzer. Overall this is a peaceful and well-run B&B with an excellent pool and a great breakfast. It suited a one-night stop very well, and one night was not long enough to make full use of the pool and garden. We would happily return for a longer stay."

"The property was one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed at. This is agritourism at its finest. The location is close enough to all amenities yet retains the quiet Sicilian country charm you'd want. The host went above and beyond to make the check-in smooth and hassle free. I can without a doubt say it was of my favorite places to stay in Sicily to date and cannot wait to come back again. Another amazing benefit is you can explore a lot of close sites like Mt. Etna and Taromina without having to do extensive travelling. Overall the property and host made my stay in amazing and I encourage others to stay here as well."

"We only had two nights at Puleera, but that time turned out to be a highlight of our vacation. The breakfast terrace has a view of Etna, which was erupting, so we enjoyed that vista during the day and night. The pool also has views of Etna. The room was an amazing suite with beautiful antique furnishings and a sitting room. The bed was super-comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows without us having to even ask for more. The breakfast each morning was phenomenal! The standard is high from the places we stayed, but so many home-made dishes just stood out, and the morning staff could not have been nicer. Lori stood out from that staff and Poula, our hostess, was also a joy to interact with. The sunset dinner beneath the magnolia is also not to be missed. Surrounded by vineyards, Puleera gave us a sense of remoteness from the nearby bustling towns. In a word - enchanting!"

"The place is beautiful but what really makes this place amazing is the owner. He personally takes care of you. We ate at their restaurant one night, the food was excellent and the view amazing The rooms are big and the AC works really well. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"Room was fair size and clean but walls are in need of painting, grounds are in need of repair and cleaning all around, property does not look like pictures at all, staff at front desk are extremely helpful and nice even helped with our luggage since no elevator, no pool and no restaurant Neighbour hood is not desirable Our first time in Sicily and I feel like expedia should remove the pictures of restaurant and pool Carpets in hallways very dirty looks like not enough staff Only good things were sfaff at front desk I feel first part of my vacation is ruined"

"V good location. Vincenzo was terrific as was his wife, Valentina. They are extremely accommodating. Among other things, Vincenzo arranged a driver for a day trip (Andrea, who was great) and at the end of our stay he gave us a ride to the train station. We loved the communal kitchen. Highly recommend."
