It was the most wonderful location. My room overlooked the Vistula. Right in the heart of the old city, yet very peaceful. The staff were first-class. Couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s a stunning city … and I chose the right hotel.

Good hotel in a historic building. Steep stairs and no lift. Not ideal for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The ongoing electrical works were somewhat noisy, with a few trip hazards. Overall, a good choice in a handy location for the Old Town and riverside walks.

Stayed at Carna Roza for 11 days. Even though the view was not spectacular, from my particular room, the room itself was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the customer service impeccable!! The staff were all extremely courteous, attentive, and accommodating. Convenient location. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a a quality stay in Torun

For me, this was a perfect stay. I stayed in a deluxe room with an enclosed balcony and view of the Vistula, the balcony being the perfect place to watch the sunset or just sit and ponder life. The hotel is just inside the Old Town itself, and it's just a very short walk to the tourist info centre, the castle ruins, the river walkway, and to the city bus. Staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating, and very responsive to emails beforehand. My own wish is that I couldn't have stayed another night.

The location of the property was great, close to all amenities. The staff was lovely. The property did not have a lift. We had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor, which wasn’t great. The room did not have air conditioning, making it impossible to sleep.

Very rude people who work here. Room was small and had use keycard to get through multiple doors to get to area to get to the rooms. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay here again. Much better hotels in the area. This is probably the worse one. Again the rudest staff I’ve ever dealt with.

Nao me hospedaria novamente.

Nice staff, good that they are on site 24/7. The breakfast was a bit spartan but quite okay. What was very bad was the condition of the beds. The mattresses were very bad and not suitable for people weighing more than 50 kg. the bed frames themselves were also in very poor condition and barely held together. The room was spacious and the toilet was perfectly fine. It is in a very good location in the old town.

Hotel Czarna Róza

Hotel Czarna Róza is a nice and clean hotel. The interior is well decorated. It is in the old town where most of the sights are, and you can walk to most of the place with in minutes. Also it is right beside the gingerbread museum. But just a heads up that this hotel does not have elevator, so you need to carry your baggage up to your floor.
