「Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv.」

「Gebucht hatten wir laut Beschreibung ein Zelt. vor Ort hieß es aber dass dies Aufpreis kosten würde. Zudem gab es keine Kommunikation vorab, wie sonst von allen anderen Unterkünften. Als wir zur Unterkunft fahren wollten, mussten wir feststellen, dass die Zufahrt überschwemmt ist (wohl seit vier Monaten schon so). Das Camp ist aktuell nur mit einem Hilux oder Land Cruiser erreichbar. Ich bin zu Fuß hingelaufen, um nach anderen Zufahrten zu fragen. Kein WLAN, kein Kaffee, kaum etwas entsprach...

Selbst nachts hörte man die Kuhglocken und die Laute der Kuh. Man benötigt eine Bootsfahrt von 30 Minuten, die auch vor 6:15 Uhr nicht startet, um zum Game Drive zu kommen. Bis dahin nur Kühr und Pferde. Gut im Wasser befanden sich dann auch Hippos. Aber eine Lage mit Blick auf eine Kuhwiese für 1100 € die Nacht...
