「Literally the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in…and my expectations are sky high! Place looked and felt brand new. No wall scuffs, no nasty grout, no warn carpet. It was adorable!
Location was great too. Easy parking and just a short walk to the beach and the restaurants in town.」

「While we only stayed one night here, it was the perfect location to get away from the noise of town traffic yet very close to Hokitika and right on the way to the Hokitika Gorge. There were only two of us but perfect spot for family with children or couples travelling together. 」

「We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. 」

「What a fantastic property for a family holiday, the gardens and outdoor areas are spacious and stunning, the decor inside and out are very creative and thought out. The kitchen is very well equipped with more than enough crockery, utensils, pots and pans etcI love that the pantry is filled with cooking and baking ingredients including spices and sauces.We felt safe and comfortable at all times.
