Amazing stay in Toulouse

Le Saint-Aubin is in the heart of Toulouse - walking distance to everything!! Just the place to stay if you want to enjoy everything Toulouse has to offer you. It has a grand terrace to enjoy your wine and tapas during the warm days & evenings... the apartment itself is super comfortable with everything needed to enjoy a nice stay in Toulouse - it felt like home.

Le Saint-Aubin A beautiful, chic apartment with all necessary amenities and located in a relaxing and welcoming neighbourhood. Easy access for parks, shops, restaurants, bars and the train station. The only criticism is that the air conditioning was not working. There was a broken unit in the flat. We were left with a tower fan which was both extremely loud and ineffective. In the extreme August heat, this made the apartment very uncomfortable. Overall, great location, very well-equipped, and I would recommend once the air conditioning is fixed.

Le Saint-Aubin "Disappointing 🙂 Very comfortable bed and OK pillows. Great kitchen with all amenities. Awesome living space empathetically and tastefully appointed. Good options not often thought of, such as coat stands, extra towels. 🙁 We cut our stay short at considerable extra cost due to the heat of the apartment, the lack of working airconditioner (agreed, it was not offered in advert), but the standalone airdonditioning unit supplied was broken, and the fan not ideal. Noise from the steet is considerable, which leaves the occupants with the only options of stuffy, hot, unbreatheble conditions or achieving some form of airflow at the cost of sleepless nights. 2 toilet rolls for 4 nights was inadequate - had to purchase additional to ensure no emergencies ! The bathroom is on the slim side, albeit the shower space is accommodating. The internal toilet space is unvented and fortunately separate. We booked this apartment quickly, and whilst I usually the reviews, clearly, I hadn't done so this time. That turned out to be a shame."

Les rideaux tirés lorsque je suis arrivée ont sans doute atténué la chaleur. Je me suis très bien sentie dans ce logement accueillant. 🙁 Le climatiseur n'est pas très pratique à utiliser. Le tuyau d'évacuation n'est pas très stable. Mais bon, il était là et c'était très appréciable 🙂 je ne l'ai utilisé qu'une heure lorsque je suis arrivée."

Le Saint-Aubin Great place: beautifully decorated and well located. A few hiccups: we waited half an hour with our suitcases in front of the door for the key. In the listing it said that there was an oven and shampoo/soap, but there wasn’t. So we had to buy some. If the listing was accurate, I would have brought some. Once arrived, it was impossible to contact someone from the agency. The messages were never delivered. Apart from that, our stay was great and we really enjoyed the apartment.

Le Saint-Aubin "Would not recommend or stay again due to the terrible communication, clutter and the terrace. 🙂 The apartment is small but fine for two people and with good amenities, everything we needed. It was great to have a separate toilet and also a washing machine. It is in an historic building with good bones lovely French doors and windows. The terrace would be great but is in need of a makeover and tidy up. Location was on the edge of the historic central area, good and authentic, with a young, vibey feel. 🙁 The communication prior to our stay was terrible. I tried to contact Cocoonr well in advance of our visit to France from Australia, and was happy to pay a little extra to allow us to arrive early or to discuss other solutions but I had no reply from them. Several days before our arrival to Toulouse, my daughter who lives in France and speaks French fluently rang our contact person Nathalie several times, Nathalie was was rude and unhelpful. After arriving by train we waited several hours in a cafe with all our heavy luggage. After arriving at the agreed time of 2pm (confirmed by email from Nathalie) she left us waiting an extra hour on the street, she was in the building all along. I would be hesitant to stay in this apartment again or similar especially through a second partner such as Cocoonr because they are so difficult to contact and as paying customers made us feel like we were a nusciance. The terrace needs a makeover, there were even cigarette butts in a tray and on the grass, planters all with dead flowers and fake grass wasn't good. The decor was not quite as I imagined in the photos, too many fake flowers and knick knacks, tacky cushions, and awful couch with a hole on the seat cushion. It could be made much nicer with a de-clutter and better styling."

It was clean and the staff were excellent. There was a folder in the apartment containing instructions and helpful hints/tips which was very helpful. 🙁 the weather was very warm, there was no air conditioning and the fan provided was so noisy it was unusable. The exterior noise was such that opening the windows was not an option."
