One week with my son and Dad
The property was overall clean and in good order when we arrived. Absolutely loved the view and location! Very comfortable inside and the space on the deck was very nice and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful and communicated well, we had no issues finding the property. My only issue and what bothered me the entire time was the walk up to the cabin. My understanding was there were stairs up to the cabin and the listing did not have a disclaimer or say anything about the trail leading to the stairs. The trail is put together with rocks and old treated timbers which all are very slippery when wet. The climb up was not an issue for me or my boy but my father is not as stable as he used to be and it made him and myself very nervous going up or down the trail. It's 90% trail 10% stairs. Please be aware and perhaps some pictures would be helpful when deciding if this is the right property for you. I would not have picked this property had I known about the trail. The dock was awesome I can tell it was just put in and it had power run to it so it was very nice because we were out fishing all day and needed to charge the batteries. Overall experience was good and I would recommend it to someone looking to get away and enjoy Vermillion, just be aware of the walk up.
