The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. "The property was great! We had a large group and it worked out very well for us. There were a lot of places to sleep although triple bunk beds for adults is a little tight. Our only concern was parking. As we did have a large group of adults, there was not enough parking for our cars and boat trailers. ..."
