“I loved the parking and the quaintness. The value for the money was definitely worth it. The room was very clean. The check in was seamless and I like that it is privately owned by a family. The downside is when I arrived the TV was on loud, I thought maybe housekeeping kept it on while cleaning but once I got completely moved in and settled I turned the TV off only to hear the screeching AC unit. I could have complained or asked to be moved but I’m disabled and the last thing I wanted to do……

“We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.”

“The property is beautiful, serene and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the views just breathtaking. Definitely recommend this place for adults who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Convenient driving distance to restaurants and The Great Smokey Mountain park.”

“I absolutely loved this place. It was recently purchased by new owners in the last couple of years I believe. And the improvements have been wonderful. The only thing I didn’t find that could be more up to par, the pool bar is lovely but not stocked as well as it could be with proper ice makers and blenders and it needs fans for the hot days and music. I kept waiting for it to open on the Dunday that I spent the whole day there , but it never did. The out door pavilion with the fire pit……

“Setting was reflective of the"peaceful side of the Smokies.”

“We were surprised that for a very high property fee. There was no ice no ice trays no coffee no amenities on the property at all. Also, GPS does not get you to the property. We had to download an app on our phone and in just reading the description of the property were able to get directions, however those were even wrong as it said to turn it to Phillips 66 gas station and it has been a gas station since 2018 ”

“My daughters both loved the splash pad/pool area. The staff members were helpful and efficient.”

“We have stayed here several times and never had any major issues. Staff is always great, rooms are always clean. I was a little bummed no Hot Tub at the hotel, however we could have used the one at the Inn across the street, and for some reason, our bathroom door wouldn't lock. Overall it was a great stay and we will book there again.”
