Itara Apartments
Have stayed here a few times and have enjoyed the visits. Quick and friendly check in and nice location next to the Ross river. Public pool a few metres away which is free and a bonus, with a small pool for residents to use. All rooms have facilities for cooking as well.

Well run outfit. Rooms are kept very clean and towels replaced if old ones left in bathtub. So convenient to Townsville highlights and an array of food and drinking venues
