「I really enjoyed the breakfast and the in house bar. The room was charming and slightly dated, but no big deal. The staff were excellent and delightful. My big complaint was that this hotel is next to a church. And in the AM the bells rang out at 3 different times. I know the hotel can't fix this, but it might have been better if it wasnt a surprise.」

Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!」

「Modest facilities, but clean and functional. It has a shared small kitchen for all the guests to cook their own food so during the busy season you might end with many sharing. And on the last day some guests helped themselves to some of our stuff, not fun. Very well situated, short walk to town and restaurants/shops and the other way takes you to a charming rural area very quickly. 」
