“Upgraded to an Ole Wang Garden cabin at the last minute. The "house" was huge with 4 bedrooms. Kitchenette was well equipped although the utensils and pan were well used to the point the non stick pan was somehow scrapped by some sharp metal utensil (i don't know who/why anyone would think to use metal to scrape a non stick pan).
Location is slightly off as you got to drive a few km inward on almost a fairly narrow 2 way road near to the end of fjord. Would be great if there were clear skies……

“Uns wurde untersagt, die Parkplätze mit Ladesäulen am Hotel zu nutzen (obwohl sogar einer noch frei war). Begründung: diese werden durch “uns” benutzt, d.h. die Parkplätze werden wohl durch die Hotelangestellten benutzt. Die Dame an der Rezeption konnte uns dann nicht mal klar sagen, wo wir sonst noch Parken bzw Ladesäulen zu finden sind. Sehr schlechter Service.
Familienzimmer war ok, Frühstücksbüffet auch.”

“Remco and Ellen were exceptional hosts — responsive, outgoing, and devoted to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. The Yellow House was recently remodeled, with craftsmanship and attention to detail evident throughout. All amenities were in near mint condition, providing everything we needed throughout our stay. The coastal location is fabulous, with adjoining fields and forests providing an ideal location for peaceful hikes (we were treated to courtship displays of common snipe as the midnight sun……

“This place was the highlight of my trip. The cabin, the views, the dinner at the restaurant and the friendly staff. Everything was near perfect.
Breakfast buffet is rather plain and there is not much variety. Nonetheless the food at dinner is 11/10. Easily fine dining level.
This was also the location where we saw the northern lights on the first night we arrived. Absolutely amazing with the mountains.
There is also free laundry facilities and a gym as well.
Definitely will be my choice to……
