This cabin was a wonderful place to use as a base for our 3 women get-away. Although small, the cabin was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. Its location is great, being between Beulah/Crystal Lake and Traverse City/Interlochen. We had a wonderful stay; highly recommended.

The cabin was actually a cute little lodging. It was an individual structure surrounded by other similar cabins. It had the basic amenities; one queen bed, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning unit, and two desks. It had a small half closet for hanging up clothes. The bathroom was stocked with the essentials; toilet paper, tissue and towels, and hair dryer. It was comfortable and clean.

We were looking for a quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle and that is exactly what we found. I could not give 5 stars for interaction with staff because we didn't really "see" anyone but we did communicate by text and the person was very prompt and always helpful. Check-in was super easy. Cabin #5 was large enough to be comfortable, had everything we needed, the bathroom was nice. It was a lovely property to walk around outside and enjoy nature.

Although the property outside the cabin was nice, and the interior looked tidy, it was dusty with cobwebs and areas against the wall not swept. I am sensitive to dust, so it was a hard for me. The window AC worked but was very old. When taking a shower the first morning, the smoke alarm went off. You should warn people to shut the bathroom door to prevent that. Bathroom amenities include shower and sink soap. Remember to bring your own shampoo. There are very few places to eat nearby and the truck noise on Rt 31 can be a problem for light sleepers. Overall it was okay for one person in the cabin.
