This is a open studio cabin, 1 queen size bed, 1 full bathroom also has a full kitchen, air conditioning, furnace, outdoor fire ring, free wifi and cable TV all for you to use. We are on a busy state highway so traffic noise can be load during the day. However as the sun goes down so does the noise. We have installed double pane windows, constructed a private fence all to help with traffic noise.
We are just about 10 minutes away if you ever need anything.
We hope you appreciate our cabin location beyond being so close to Frankfort/Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, rails/trails bike path, Crystal Mnt, you could also take advantage of the Little River Casino 30 miles away, Sleeping Bear Dunes only 26 miles away, and Traverse City is 36 miles away. There is world class golf, fishing, hunting, sightseeing, fall colors, kayaking, canoeing, skiing, snowboarding all near by. Our area was voted number 1 place to visit by US News and world report.

The cabin was clean and cozy. The host was very helpful. The bathroom was surprisingly large and modern. Even though the cabin is on a busy road, the big evergreen tree and privacy fence providers privacy. We had the fan on at night, so the road noise did not affect us. The cabin is close to Frankfort, Honor, Beulah, Benzonia, Empire and Sleeping Bear Dunes! We would love to stay here again at Carol’s Cabin.

The cabin really is cozy. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was well supplied. Bathroom had newer fixtures. Very clean. Mattress very firm. Obvious attention to making the place comfortable. Great all around place. All the accommodations we need. The outside could use a little tlc but nice improvements on the inside. Road noise is loud when you are sitting outside but we were not there much unless it was raining. This was our 3rd time staying there

Overall, the cabin was just as advertised, except the bed is not a queen size bed. It is more of a double bed size. Also, there were a lot of dead leaves by the fire pit. We were concerned of how close they were to the pit. The cabin was clean and very equipped for our stay. I would have no problem staying there again if the bed could be bigger.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I highly recommend this property. The owner is extremely accommodating and is very quick to respond to any questions you may have. The property was clean and perfect for a stay with your loved one. Very close to all popular attractions, and is only about a 5 minute drive to downtown Frankfort. Loved having access to a fire pit too!

Perfect Getaway!

Loved our stay at this charming cottage! It had everything we needed including peace and quiet. Cottage was very clean and decorated so nice. Also there's a nice outdoor grill and a place for an evening campfire. Cottage is just a few miles from several small towns and also close to a biking/hiking trail. We brought our bikes with us and had some really nice rides. Would definitely stay here again.

It was vey comfortable and cozy. It had just the right amount of space for my husband and I. It is close to the boat launch where we were able to launch each day we were there and go fishing. The only thing we thought that may have been a bit more accommodating was a bit larger refrigerator. It was a great stay!

Really enjoyed Carol's Cabin. Quietly tucked away. Very clean and reasonable price. Comfy bed. Much more offerred than a hotel. We were at a local wkd event at Frankfort. 7min away. Good communication. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen has everything. Breakfast coffee teas provided. Bathroom well stocked. Its on a highway, but felt hidden and noise was not an issue. Will return! Model experience! Perfect.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

We loved our stay in this peaceful, quiet and lovely cabin. Hosts were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Location is close to Frankfort, Beulah and Benzonia and we visited, shopped and dined at all 3. We also brought our bikes and rode them on the nearby bike trail. Cabin decor was very cute and cabin had everything we needed. Loved our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Very close to Frankfort

The cottage is rustic but very clean . We knew this from the listing . We wanted the “up north “ feel . The road is a bit noisy during the day , but that was also stated in the listing . We were gone most of the day anyway . Owners were very attentive . It worked fine for us .
