This was are second time visiting and this place does not disappoint! Beautiful hot weather and nice cozy fires on the beach at night. Kiddos and dog stayed busy at all times. Plenty of family friendly places to visit nearby.
Very relaxing and peaceful environment. The house is nothing fancy but thats ok, it still has everything you need. The property is amazing, so much wildlife right outside the house. Nice little beach and great little lake to fish and swim.
We enjoyed exploring and hiking the trails on the property, fishing from the row boat and playing on the beach with of dog. The property was really incredible for disconnecting and enjoying nature. We loved watching the beaver, deer, and loons. Great proximity to town for daily outings to breweries, restaurants, and wineries.
We chose this spot because it appeared to be somewhat secluded, and boy was it. We had an entire lake, plus, to ourselves.
What an amazing relaxing week. We fished, we swam, we walked the lake trails, we bird watched, and we definately relaxed.
Such an amazing little peace of serenity.
Clean with some vintage charm. Our kiddos had a splendid time swimming, kayaking, walking property, and having fires on the beach! Plenty of relaxation time for all. If you have a dog that likes the water and roaming this is a 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back for a stay, thanks!
My review is for Fiebings Four Seasons, my minimal contact with Rental Management One was quick and simple - The home is private, the beach/lake is a wonderful, secluded getaway. Know going in it is an older cabin - nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Bring bug spray. We enjoyed a quick weekend with our dogs and children, they enjoyed the beach, rowboat and endless running around. The untouched nature this place offers is a rare gem.
Everything was exceptionally clean. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, towels and blankets. We enjoyed the beach and fishing. It was a very relaxing week.
This is a secluded place to stay. Surrounded by woods and a fantastic view of the lake. We watched the beaver and the swans in the lake and the raccoon babies at the bird feeder. The house has all the comforts you need for your stay.
Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that.
The house was very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. I really enjoyed the birds, especially the eastern phoebes that hunted for insects right outside the wide living room windows. As stated, there was no inernet but the cell signal was more than strong enough for a hot spot to participate in zoom calls. The grounds were wild, and although the sound from the road was audible, the overall feel was that I was far feom civilization. The managers graciously allowed me to bring my cat, and he enjoyed watching the birds through the window too. All in all, a very relaxing stay.
Starting with the positives, this place was exactly as described. It’s rustic and could use a little attention, but that fit with what we expected. The lakes and trails were better than we imagined. We made great memories on the rowboat, fishing, and relaxing by the water. A nice surprise was the two fire pits on site, which added to the experience. I suspect this property would be a 10/10 for most stays, and we got glimpses of that. Our stay didn’t go smoothly, though, but I give full credit to the property manager for staying responsive and doing their best to make things right. The AC was broken upon arrival — unfortunate, but the bigger issue was that it was a 20-year-old unit that had been service the year before. While we waited for a repair, we were surprised by the arrival of two unknown guests who turned out to be future renters stopping by unannounced. They wandered the property for half an hour, which definitely affected our sense of privacy.Day two brought the repairman and more waiting. A portable unit was promised, potentially that evening, but then didn’t arrive until day three. Every full day of our stay was interrupted, not allowing us to ever fully disconnect. The setting here is peaceful and private, but we never really got to settle in and experience it fully. I don’t think our experience will be typical for most, and again, I appreciate how the manager handled it. There’s a lot to love about this place — just hope it gets the care it deserves.
