Beautiful cabin

Loved the cabin! Lots of stairs, but the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding area were well worth it. It's a shame we weren't able to try the barrel sauna due to the weather. Chris was also a friendly, communicative host.

Wonderful Place

My two little boys and I planned a trip to Traverse City over their spring break. The Hygge Cabin was a perfect jump off point for all of our excursions. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!!

Relaxing stay in the woods

Very pleasant cabin. Well equipped with everything you will need. The cabin and area was very quiet. Good location between TC, dunes, and beaches.

Excellent retreat

The location was beautiful and the house was the perfect place to appreciate the beauty of the forest. We loved spending time out on the porches and made great use of the sauna. The kitchen was well organized and stocked and the bathrooms were clean.

Scandinavian Retreat

Unique log cabin in a secluded very peaceful setting. The patio was a lovely space to spend the evenings. Beds and linens were cozy :) Coffee bar was a nice touch. Sooooo many stairs but this was made clear in the listing. We were pleased with our stay. Thank you!

Woodsy Wonderful Peaceful Log Cabin

Absolutely loved my stay here. I think that says it all! Would absolutely stay again. Perfect solo, couple, or small group, it has amazing decks, amazing log structure, cool layout, spiral stairs, fun nature, uplifting art and style (hygge!) claw tub, good shower, well maintained, great location between the really Big Pond and Traverse City, easy check in process, cloistered in a tree enclave, muffled and few car passerbys (you are above st level here yet close to st) It really has a nature lovers vibe, its super peaceful and private and host Chris checks in but is totally non-invasive in the experience. Lets you completely enjoy the house by yourselves. You need to be fit or be ready to leave more fit because its alot of stair walking. (but not too much) Loved it!
