This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental offers a cozy home base for exploring the area's nearby beaches, trails and waterways. Downtown Traverse City sits only a short 2 miles away, offering shopping and dining on the shores of Lake Michigan. Enjoy one (or more!) of the award-winning vineyards, wineries and villages on the picturesque Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas. Visit the quaint little towns of Leland, Suttons Bay and Empire while exploring the region. Finally, retire to the Bungalow's private, lighted spa appointed backyard fire pit and deck, perfect in all 4-Seasons to relax and enjoy Northern Michigan!

This Traverse City vacation rental is an ideal Up North retreat, made for exploring the gorgeous shores of Lake Michigan. The Bungalow offers a charming home base to return to at the end of the day complete with a well-equipped kitchen, relaxing deck and spa appointed yard space perfect for four legged friends. Centrally Located just two miles from downtown Traverse City and Beaches.
OUTDOOR: Hot Tub, Barrel Sauna, Cold Plunge Barrel, Deck, Patio Dining, Fire Pit, String Lights, Gas BBQ Grill

INDOOR: 3 flat-screen Smart TVs, lounge chairs, plush sofa, hardwood floors

KITCHEN: Well-equipped, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker with complimentary pods

GENERAL: Air conditioning, linens/towels, suitable for children, suitable for elderly, optional pet with fee (paid pre-trip)

Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests are not possible.
We recognize that our guests often want to request early arrival or later check-outs. While we really try to say yes to our guest requests, this is the one request that we cannot accommodate.

We strive to have our homes in perfect order for your arrival and that is a monumental task for our cleaning & maintenance crews to attain in the amount of time allotted. Having guests arrive earlier or stay later adds additional pressure to an already tight timeline.

HOUSE RULES AND POLICIES

- Vacation Rental Agreement signature required upon confirmation, contain full House Rules.
- No smoking/Candle burning indoors
- Pet allowed with fee $150.00 (Max 1 Allowed) Add on fee applied prior to arrival upon host approval of your pet. Please provide your pets description include Name, Age, Breed and size.
- No events, parties or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book

Great pet friendly stay with nice amenities!
This place is great. We had everything we needed to feel at home including a nice private backyard for the puppy. The sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of the day. The place was clean and welcoming with some local snacks included. Overall, a great experience!

Spa Retreat
From the massage chairs, comfy robes, to the hot tub and fabulous sauna, we were treated a most relaxing stay. Everything worked in great condition. We enjoyed the bikes as well. The location was excellent, we biked through the Boardman Lake trail, to downtown and the beach.

Great Stay
This is a wonderful place to stay for a Traverse City trip. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, the amenities (sauna, hot tub,etc.) are incredibly clean (as well is the entire home) and well maintained. There is everything you could need to stay there as far as cooking equipment, plentiful amounts of towels and even a table top arcade that is incredibly addicting. The space is also very dog friendly and their fenced in yard was wonderful. I would say for any dog owners, the yard is very sandy which, we've found out, is common to the area so just plan accordingly. We would recommend the Buganlow to anyone and hope to stay there again next year!

Great getaway spot!
This place is great for those looking for a relaxing getaway. The house was very clean and all the amenities were in great condition, everything was labeled for easy access. The sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub were a great way to end the day. Also, this property is not far from downtown Traverse City and there is a lake nearby with a very good walking/running trail around it. Definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect little bungalow
This was our third time staying at this property and we always have a wonderful time! Our dog loves watching the squirrels in the yard and the neighborhood is quiet and walkable. The massage chairs were an excellent addition and the location is perfect - close to everything you’d ever want but very peaceful and feels separate enough that you can come home and relax. Couldn’t recommend more.

Hello We had an amazing time. The bungalow was perfect for us! Very clean. Wonderful check in process. Great location. Safe area. We did it all Downtown Traverse for lunch & dinners. Did hiking & Shopping in Glen Arbor. We shopped in Sutton Bay. My brothers took a fishing trip & caught a King Salmon. The fire-put at the Bungalow was just perfect, we enjoyed those nice evenings. I would recommend the Bungalow to anyone visiting Traverse City. Thank you. Kara & family.

Perfect Getaway
This place was perfect for our little weekend away in TC. The check in process was very easy and informative, the host checked in to make sure everything was fine. The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard and fire pit area. Close to downtown Traverse, the location was great. Definitely would come back.

We made this are home base for a wedding and family vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here it was close to everything and we enjoyed being away from Front St but close enough that we could ride our bikes there in about 13 minutes. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the back yard with the fire pit.

This was an outstanding place to stay all around! Very cute and clean little house. Everything you need for a weekend or a week's stay. Nice fire pit in back yard and fun lights for enjoying the back deck. A litter further from the bays and beaches than i thought, but only an extra 10 min/1 mile bike ride to the tart trail. Woukd definitely stay here again!

Cosy well maintained house
We felt welcome when we entered the house. They had a little basket with some local jam, candy and food on the kitchen table. It was super clean and looked very well maintained. Bedrooms were cosy and the bed was made with decoration cushions and blankets. Enough space for us. Kitchen was fully equipped. Nice backyard. Communication with the owner was good. I think I can only mention 1 comment. With 2 adults (50+) we prefer a king bed. Both beds were a bit small.
