Great place to stay

Great location, specially if you are taking/coming from a Ferry. We had to leave just before breakfast was served and they offered to prepare a bag for us, and it was delicious. Dinner is also very good and was included on our rate.

We weee taking the ferry to Rostock and needed a place to stay the night before. If you are going on the morning Stena line ferry this hotel is beyond perfect. Not only is it in the same building as stena line terminal but it is exceptional in all regards. The dinner the night before was 5 stars! Plus breakfast and exceptional service from the staff. Room was great and spacious as well. If visiting southern Sweden this is a pure gem

Parking at this place was difficult, as the desk clerk did not give me the proper information that there was an additional parking area which was not sign posted. But what I really didn't like is that I wrote to the hotel manager about this, and she hasn't yet replied. This is a bad sign! In addition, as the hotel is located very close to the port, trucks can idle just outside the back of the hotel while waiting to clear customs. This is really annoying, but the hotel cannot do anything about it, or so I was told. We would definitely not stay at this property again. No way.

Ingen restaurang utan enbart enklare mat. Inget kylskåp på rummet. Kalt inne i rummet. Duschen sliten. Personalen trevliga och hjälpsamma. Lite dyrt för att vara så enkelt boende. Vi fick be om frukost- påse - eftersom vi reste tidigt med färjan och fick hjälp av personalen att ordna det.

Vi var to venner, der boede på Hotel Magasinet i to nætter. Desværre fungerede ventilationen/airconditionen ikke under hele vores ophold, og værelset var derfor meget varmt. Det gjorde det svært at sove begge nætter. Det eneste vindue vendte ud mod en meget trafikeret havnevej med mange lastbiler, så det var ikke en realistisk løsning at have vinduet åbent på grund af støjen. Da vi henvendte os til personalet på andendagen, kendte de allerede til problemet. De tilbød os en bordventilator, men oplyste samtidig, at der først ville komme en tekniker og se på anlægget dagen efter – altså efter vores afrejse. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende, men vi er ekstremt skuffede over, at vi ikke blev informeret om problemet ved indtjekning. Havde vi kendt til situationen, kunne vi have valgt et andet hotel, som ligger lige overfor. Det mest skuffende er dog, at der ikke blev tilbudt nogen form for kompensation. Når et væsentligt forhold som ventilation eller aircondition ikke fungerer under hele opholdet, og det påvirker søvnkvaliteten begge nætter, mener jeg, at man som minimum bør kunne forvente et betydeligt afslag i prisen eller en anden form for kompensation. Opholdet levede desværre ikke op til den standard, man med rette kan forvente til den fulde pris. Det er ærgerligt, da opholdet ellers havde potentiale, men to nætter med meget dårlig søvn trækker oplevelsen markant ned.

Boendet var bra. Synd att jag missade infot om kylskåpet i korridoren. Även bokningen om parkeringen utanför hotellet. Men det fanns stor parkering 25 m från hotellet.
