Overall, the place was okay, but it could really use a deep clean from top to bottom. "The location was perfect for what we wanted to do - i.e. see Mt. Etna and visit Taormina. The grounds are landscaped beautifully as the pictures show and the cabin is as small as the pictures suggest. As long as you can use the front deck, as we did, you don't feel too cramped. The 'buffet' breakfast must be something lost in translation. There was a jar of cookies and a basket of packaged pastries but that was it. "We couldn't fault our stay—everything was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was quick and efficient, with Erika being especially friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable base for our visit. When we went to reception to book a table at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast, Rita greeted us with a cheerful and helpful attitude, adding to the positive experience. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight not to be missed. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious breakfast with many Sicilian treats, and the view of Mount Etna made it truly memorable. Highly recommended!"

Very nice, great room, but smoky.

"The hotel was great overall. The customer service was good. Our only complaint is that our room smelled like strong cigarettes. It was as if someone was smoking while cleaning. Towels, tissue paper, and pillow cases all as if we were breathing in ashtray. Aside from that, the view was great and the pool nice (minus an adult man that kept spitting in the pool!) The staff was fabulous. The breakfast was amazing and dinner very good. It was nice to get up and away from the tiny Italian streets."

"Absolutely beautiful resort with stunning views of the ocean. The beach was truly breathtaking—crystal clear water made it feel like paradise. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with plenty of variety. Staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we loved that there were great restaurants just steps away across the street. Highly recommend!"
