Mountain View Cottage

Our home and the 5-STAR guest cottage sit on 11 acres, nestled in the valley on a hilltop between Lookout and Sand Mountains. Our driveway is over 400 feet long, which allows lots of privacy. The cottage was built as a mother-in-law suite and sleeps two adults very comfortably, located across the driveway from our home. There is a pond that is about 1.5 acres and located along the lower driveway. We're located 1 - 3 miles from several good local and chain restaurants in Trenton, Georgia: Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Chattanooga, 20 -25 minutes. Ruby Falls features a 40-foot climbing tower with five routes of varying difficulty and 700 feet of rushing zip lines with amazing views of the Tennessee Valley! Also, Lookout Mountain Flight Park- Hang Gliding and Paragliding Training Center. One of the best hang gliding experiences in the country is only 10 minutes away.

Cloudland Canyon is only a 10-minute drive; hiking paths include the short Overlook Trail, strenuous Waterfalls Trail, and moderate West Rim Loop Trail. Mountain biking is available at the newly developed Five Points Recreation Area and along the Cloudland Connector Trail. The park also offers disc golf, a fishing pond, trails for horseback riding, picnicking, and overlooks. Check out our guest book for more information.

Quiet cottage in the mountains

Quiet and serene getaway

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The home was lovely and had everything we needed during our stay. The views around were beautiful and we were just a short drive away from great views and attractions. A Reprieve from the Hustle and Bustle

Attention to detail

The cottage was very clean and newish. Everything was there we needed and the bed wasn't worn out as some mattresses are in rentals. It was a super nice stay and we would stay again!

Mountain get away

Absolutely top notch. Our stay was wonderful, our host was very prompt to text with arrival and departure instructions. Their property was immaculate and every possible item was provided. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple who are wanting to explore the area. We hiked every day and never ran out of places to see. Peaceful secluded private cottage

We loved our time at the cottage. It was clean and up to date. Comfortable bed and great AC. Shower was spacious and refreshing. Close to interstate but safely tucked behind a gated home lot. Anniversary Stay

My wife and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in 2022 and liked it so much we decided to go back for our first anniversary. The property is located about 30 minutes from Chattanooga and if you like waterfalls Cloudland Canyon is a must. The house is very clean, and the host think of everything. I put in the booking that we were coming back for our anniversary, and they had a gift basket and a card for use when we arrived. We enjoyed looking at the goats, chickens and sitting by the lake as well. We will defiantly stay here again.

The location and view was lovely. They provided everything we could ever need. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond, and actually caught several fish. The only suggestion I have would be to add a recliner and a reading lamp in the living area. One small sofa doesn’t leave much space to stretch out.
