Perfect Miner's Cottage

  • Come stay in our beautifully updated, historic miner's cabin in scenic Trinidad, CO, with lovely views of Fisher's Peak from the front porch and bedroom window. This charming cottage has original, blond wood floors, a full-size kitchen with full-size stove and refrigerator, separate bedroom, 3/4 bath, and a full-size washer/dryer. We have installed a new ceiling fan in the living room and new floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Our cabin also has had new Anderson windows, so you can freely open and close them to enjoy the fresh, clean Colorado air. The cabin has a/c for your summer time comfort. You will have access to the front yard, backyard and deck to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather. It is walking distance to historic Kit Carson park, and we are just five blocks from the dispensaries, restaurants, and bars on Commercial Street. We are 420 friendly inside and on font porch and back deck. As our guests, you will have sole access to our extra-long driveway. While we love our fur babies, pets are not allowed due to other guests' allergies. Please no tobacco smoking inside. Our cabin is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for single travelers who seek a safe, picturesque place to relax. Bicycling enthusiasts will also be pleased with ample space to keep their bikes and other equipment.
We have never charge our guests a guests a fee, so come stay with hosts who respect your pocketbook and treat you like adults.

Stay here! The cottage is welcoming and felt like home. Immaculately clean, super comfy bed and so easy to check in and out. Our only regret is that we were only staying one night!!

Everything was tidy and in order. My son did express that with only one a/c in the living room, the bedroom was a little bit too warm to sleep in. Other than that, the stay was nice. The home was conveniently located to a variety of attractions.

The miners cottage was absolutely amazing, the bed was so comfortable, we both slept very well. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer, I washed all our clothes so I didn't have to come home and wash everything. The host, James and Paula were so nice and we already plan on staying there the next time we go to Colorado.

This property was just what I needed for one night in town. It's small without being cramped and decorated nicely. The neighborhood is quiet so I had a good night's sleep. I didn't use the internet or tv, so I can't comment on those. The hosts left a friendly note of welcome and provided several books about and guides to activities in the area. This is a comfortable stay for a single or couple.
