Perfect Miner's Cottage

Come stay in our beautifully updated, historic miner's cabin in scenic Trinidad, CO, with lovely views of Fisher's Peak from the front porch and bedroom window. This charming cottage has original, blond wood floors, a full-size kitchen with full-size stove and refrigerator, separate bedroom, 3/4 bath, and a full-size washer/dryer. We have installed a new ceiling fan in the living room and new floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Our cabin also has had new Anderson windows, so you can freely open and close them to enjoy the fresh, clean Colorado air. The cabin has a/c for your summer time comfort. You will have access to the front yard, backyard and deck to enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather. It is walking distance to historic Kit Carson park, and we are just five blocks from the dispensaries, restaurants, and bars on Commercial Street. We are 420 friendly inside and on font porch and back deck. As our guests, you will have sole access to our extra-long driveway. While we love our fur babies, pets are not allowed due to other guests' allergies. Please no tobacco smoking inside. Our cabin is perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for single travelers who seek a safe, picturesque place to relax. Bicycling enthusiasts will also be pleased with ample space to keep their bikes and other equipment.
We have never charge our guests a guests a fee, so come stay with hosts who respect your pocketbook and treat you like adults.

My family and I stay here every time we are traveling through Colorado. Paula and Jimmy are the kindest hosts, they are attentive and available if needed but otherwise you'd never know they were next door. The house is always ultra-clean and it's very cozy... the mattress is excellent! You can sit on the front porch and gaze at Fisher Peak in near silence, the neighborhood is very quiet.You have private parking off the street too, that's always nice. Might be 2 minutes into downtown if you catch the light, great location for getting there and back.Bottom line... this is a great rental, hosted by wonderful folks for a fantastic price. Book and stay here once and you'll become a regular if you ever pass through Tinidad!

We were on a mini-honeymoon. This cottage went above and beyond or expections. It was absolutely perfect in every way. In fact, I really wanted to buy it as a permanent home it was so perfect. I definitely recommend this cottage.

A regular coffee maker would be nice.All of the knives are extremely dull and no sharpener.Front screen door is torn allowing insects to come inside.Bathroom sink is clogged. I had to plunge it several times.Front Landscape needs mowing and improvement. Directions for TV operation would be helpfull.

Comfortable, Clean & Quiet. This was a one night stay for my husband and I as we travel north. It worked perfectly for us for a quick stay. Parking was nice to have the entire drive. Conveniently located right outside of town so catching a bite to eat anywhere was just a few minutes away.
