「Location was very convenient with plenty of dining options within a few minutes walk. Easy access to the beach. The under cover parking was a bit tight, but easy enough with a mid-sized SUV. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size and clean. The kitchen was suitable and reasonably well equipped, however most of the mugs had chipped edges. 「everything about this property was lovely. only thing, kids could find the gaming console (not that i minded lol) and the ad made it sound like the pool was just outside but infact its a small stroll down the road. still enjoyed our swim etc but was one of the deciding factors to stay here when we thought the pool was right there. But that's nothing major, everything else was as described and beds were comfy. would recommend :) 」

「Rooms were nicely decorated however for a 5* resorts I was expecting the bathrooms to be modern and beautiful. They were not! And also we found (we had 3 rooms) mould in all showers. Reception and staff from La Mesa were very friendly however staff at the pool bar were not nice and cocktails were not up to the quality we expected from again a 5* resort. Very noisy due to school hols and kids take over all amenities. We will not be back as it didn’t provide value for our money and it was not a 5*...

「The garden setting and the u shape of the overall resort are lovely. The beach is very close literally metres away. Although the pool and spa are not heated it was still refreshing to have a dip due to the overall warm winter weather. The washing machine and dryer are in the apartment so very convenient. The cons: Whilst the apartment is smoke free. There was smoke from other apartment that wafted in from the balcony so had to close the balcony door quite often. No oven however there is a...

「Great location, beach and rainforest access at one location. Great!」

「Walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors breathing. I tried working out in the morning and was told to shut up by neighbors. Had a call at 5am in my room, regular volume was made (it was a work call); again neighbors freaked out because it woke them. I also could not use the tv as it was attached to the wall, max volume I could go was 20 out of 100 before the neighbor Complained. Walls are as thin as can be, all can be heard, and yes I mean (all). I reported this to the staff of course....

「We had trouble finding the property in the dark. Once we were oriented, we enjoyed the location and proximity to the esplanade. In the unit, the washer/dryer combo did not work well, the shower left much of the bathroom floor wet and we could have used additional towels. We never heard from or met the hosts during our stay.」
