“I hate the star system. The Humboldt Abode was absolutely lovely except for a few things. First, the good. Absolutely beautiful property, gorgeous backyard beach, lovely inside with nearly everything one would need. Neat with personal accents, nothing over the top. Quaint, peaceful. The not-so-perfect included very slight uncleanliness in shower area, that the futon bed included two mattresses running parallel with the headboard, so my husband's butt regularly sank into where the two came……

“This is our 2nd year of staying here in August to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary. It is a beautiful home in a gorgeous location and sleeps all 9 of us.. The pool was wonderful and used every day as it was over 100 degrees every day!! The few issues we had last year were all addressed (AC in the pool house, extra fan upstairs). Our only small problem this year was that we couldn't use the dishwasher as there were no dishwasher pods/soap, so we had to do dishes for 9 people after every……

“We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and smelled nice, everything was well stocked. The soap in the kitchen and bathroom smelled so good. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We chose this place partly because it said it had a kitchen with a refrigerator freezer. It turns out there was a mini fridge outside and no kitchen area in which to heat or prepare food or wash dishes. The outside area was under a significant state of disrepair and lack of care. The pool is green and likely toxic.”

There’s eating utensils but you use bathroom lavatory to clean the plates after use.NO wifi or TV channel in which it’s okay for 2 nights. I like the quietness and tranquility of the place. “This is an amazing property in an awesome location! Great views from the living room and balcony, with the added benefit of being right above one of the best coffee shops we've ever been to. In addition to the coffee shop (they have amazing food as well), it is centrally located, 10 minutes to anywhere and close to downtown. There is one other apartment, but there are no shared walls that ended up with us hearing them. I worked from home for a week without issues on the Wi-Fi provided. You can……

“Great home from home. Parking out front was great and local shops are super convenient. Loads of DVDs and games to keep you busy should the weather be poor. Even an Xbox! Could maybe do with a little modernisation (oven though fully functional) and the tap in the kitchen needs replacing. Would 100% recommend. ”
