Bungalow by The Sea

Newly renovated Bungalow (august 2016) located close by the sea and just 15 min from the city center by car. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need and got one of the best views on town.
The bus leaves every hour, and the bus stop is close by.
Its a very peaceful place where you can get away from all of the stress in the city and light pollution which is a very ideal location to see the northern lights. Sit down by the ocean and catch a glimps of the sea eagle or the porpoises swimming by. Or take a hiking trip in the forest next to the house.
Parking is by the road and only 1 minute walk down.
There is a mezzanine bed upstairs or a comfortable sleeping couch downstairs.
It is not wheelchair accessible.
Its truly an amazing place which i highly recommend!

Heel klein huis met ruim terras en fantastisch uitzicht op het fjord/water.Huisje ligt direct aan een drukke weg (15 meter lager) waardoor je veel geluid hoort van het wegverkeer dat voorbij raast. In het huisje zelf hoor je dit minder. In de tuin is het erg aanwezig. Het huisje en tuin liggen wel heerlijk privé. Je kunt erg genieten van het uitzicht. De eigenaar heeft erg z’n best gedaan om het terras en het huisje gezellig te maken. Het huisje is ook erg schoon. Er is alleen weinig tot geen zon bij het huisje door de verscholen ligging. De vide is zo laag dat je daar weinig aan hebt. De bedbank kan je ook als bed gebruiken maar ligt niet geweldig. Mooi huisje met wel wat nadelen. Het uitzicht maakt veel goed. Al met al vonden wij de prijs kwaliteit niet voldoende.

Sehr schöne kleines Haus am Fjord

In dem kleinen Haus ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die schöne Terrasse mit direktem Wasserkontakt konnten wir bei - 15 Grad zwar nicht wirklich nutzen. Der Ausblick ist trotzdem toll gewesen. Man kann sich zwar vornehmen beim Aufstehen sich nicht den Kopf an der Decke zu stoßen, ich bin mir aber sicher, dass es kaum jemandem gelingen wird den Kontakt mit der Decke zu vermeiden. Das hat das Gesamtambiente aber nicht getrübt.

Beautiful and Quiet with easy access to Trondheim

Great place to relax on the deck couch and watch the beautiful fjord or catch the hourly bus into Trondheim (do not miss the magnificent medieval cathedral). Cozy, well equipped cabin was perfect for the two of us. Sofa bed was comfortable - at 73 and 68 years old the loft would have been too much (though a couple of our grandchildren would have loved it). Michael is a good host - attending to us when needed but not interrupting our peaceful seclusion. Highly recommended.

Tiny House in a Beautiful Location

Michael is a great host, very friendly and responsive. Both check-in and out were easy. The apartment is really a stand-alone "tiny house" on a hilly side of the fjord. The view of the fjord from the deck is fantastic. You have to park on the road above and follow a somewhat steep wooded path to the house. The overall size of the place was a little tight for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). The loft, accessible via ladder, has a double bed for 2 people and a twin bed for 1 person. The ceiling in the loft is only about 1 meter / 3 feet high, so you have to crawl around up there. The couch on the main level opens up for the 4th person. The house and bathroom are clean and tidy and are fully stocked with plates, cups, towels, etc. Overall a fun stay!

Perfect view

The cabin was very cozy and completely modern. The floor is heated, the lofted beds are very comfortable, and view could not be better. The nearby bus stop makes it convenient to get downtown and enjoy the city environment. And a plus, we got to see the Northern lights, something you can't see from downtown!

Cozy Holidays near Trondheim

The cabin was a very nice place to be. It's perfect for 2 people - tiny, but cozy with everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. We also liked the location 10 min away from Trondheim and directly by the fjord. Micheal is a very nice and helpful landlord. If there is anything to object a bit, is that we had a jacuzzi directly in front of us but we're not allowed to use it, because it belongs to the guest house next door. Better if we wouldn't have seen it. Eventuelly, we had a great time and would stay again.

Cozy and secluded cabin facing the fjord

We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's quiet and secluded cabin. Facing the fjord and with a forest and mountains as a "backyard", this cozy retreat is ideal to recharge your batteries and to do some nice hiking trips. Although we didn't get to know Michael, he was always online making sure everything was okay. Would definitely stay there again!
