Excellent, friendly staff in a well positioned hotel for the railway station and city centre. The free afternoon coffee and waffles was a nice touch. On the downside it is an older building and needs some cosmetic work.

Location, Value

We stayed there 1 night. It is an older building with some older furnished rooms. The front desk service was excellent, the breakfast spread was very good, they offered luggage storage prior to check-in,. The location 3 minute walk to the station and central tp restaurants and city walk was perfect, Priced for budget-minded travelers.

No late night check in access.

Nobody on reception and entry door locked on late evening arrival. I had to call the telephone Nr posted on front locked door. Thereafter walk 400m to another hotel to collect my room/front dooor access card. This was a very uncomfortable, insecure & inconvenient arrangement especially in the late night darkness. Next day hotel reception guy was extremely apologetic and did all he could to make wrongs right.

Enkelt hotell sentralt plassert.

Rommer var rent og enkelt møblert. Mulig kasserte møbler fra annet hotell? To enkelt senger var litt for myke/slitt (?) og hodeputene var "steinharde". Gulvvarmen på badet var god, men forheng foran dusjen trekker ned! Jeg bestilte et dobbeltrom for min mann og meg + et enkeltrom for min niese. Resepsjonisten mente jeg hadde bestilt to dobbeltrom! Frokosten var god og hotellets beliggenhet i Trondheim er suveren!

Litt tungvint om man ankommer etter kl 24. må til annet hotell for å hente ut nøkkel. Rommet var slitent og dør til rom ikke tett. Hører der fort alt som skjer i gangen.
