Paradise on the Coast of the Gods

It is exactly as it looks. So beautiful and peaceful. Well equipped and in the center of everything. Pasquale could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We enjoyed our stay tremendously, and did not want to leave .I am looking forward to going back. It was like going to my relative's home, so comfortable!

Cute flat unfortunate issue

The hot water in the shower did not work for most of our stay, the issue was flagged multiple times but only resolved on the last day. One of the days we had to boil water to shower as hot water was not working at all. A somewhat adequate compensation was initially offered but later he changed the terms, saying extra charges for linen and towels "were being waived" and that was part of our compensation, however, at the time of booking and writing this review there is no mention of said charges on listing, so this is misleading information. He mentioned the guest in the next flat had no problems with hot water but I can see their review now and they had the same issue. The flat location is good, and the bed is comfortable but is not king size but 2 singles together. The rest of the flat is small and works better for 2 people, but it's cute, although quite dark at times as light is hard to reach inside. The garden patio is pleasant, just please note it's shared with the other flat. The bathroom photo is not accurate, it is from the other flat. The actual bathroom has a different layout and has a shower curtain that needs to be changed as it has black mould. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking so can't comment on its amenities but I don't remember having an oven and microwave. There is a small charge that must be paid in cash at the property that is also not included on the listing. The issue was raised with v.rbo but no further resolution was given.

Best hosts in Italy

We needed accommodation at short notice and although this particular property wasn't available in Tropea, Guiseppe and his son, Pasquale found us alternative accommodation in another of their properties. I cannot recommend their personal attentiveness highly enough: Pasquale met us nearby and escorted us to our holiday home; offered us refreshments while the finishing touches were made; Guiseppe gave us wine, figs tomatoes and peppers from his land and Mama provided us with delicious home made marmalade and freshly laid eggs in the morning. Pasquale recommended best places of interest to visit and was on hand to offer help if needed. A delightful stay with the support of a wonderfully kind family.

Wunderschön

Eine malerische Villa mitten in Tropea mit einem sehr fürsorglichen und stets hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Das einzige, das unsere Kinder ein bisschen gestört hat, waren die Mücken. Aber das ist wohl der Preis für einen kühlen Garten inmitten einer heissen Stadt. dafür war aber tatsächlich alles gleich um die Ecke :-)

Favoloso!

We stayed at Pasquale's beautiful apartment (which is even more stunning than on the pictures) and had a wonderful time in Tropea! Apartment located in the city center, easy to reach by foot from the station as well as from the sea. Pasquale was not there himself at the time, but he organised his adorable sister Sara to take us to the apartment and care for us. They were the loveliest hosts a guest could hope for! Perfect experience, THANKS!

Sehr gute Lage

Eine knappe Woche waren wir von der tollen Lage des Apartments am Rande der Altstadt von Tropea begeistert. Fürs Auto immer ein freier Parkplatz vor der Türe, nur wenige Schritte bis zu den ersten Bars und Restaurants, von denen es sehr viele und gute gibt. Der Hof/Garten mit Sitzplätzen und Außenküche lädt aber durchaus dazu ein, den Abend auch mal zu Hause zu verbringen. Das Apartment ist klein, aber funktional und originell eingerichtet. Alles entspricht den Fotos und der Beschreibung. Ein kleine Minus gibt es aber auch: Die Tür der Duschabtrennung ist defekt und konnte nur mit Mühe dicht geschlossen werden und das Wasser lief nicht gut ab. Schön wäre es auch, wenn in der Küche des Apartments eine hellere Beleuchtung installiert wäre. Es hat uns aber sehr gut gefallen und wir können das Apartment nur weiterempfehlen.
