“The house was outfitted so well, modernized but still in the character of the house. Very nice quality linens and such. Great location with easy walking to many attractions. A bonus is the coffee/book/wine shop right across the street. Will stay here again.”

We felt very safe being tucked back at the end of the driveway behind the gate. It was very close to the grocery store and other businesses, but yet we didn't get the feeling we were in a busy area. Jean was delightful and always willing to chat if we wanted to. We will stay here again if we ever get to Portland in the future.”

“I like the highland bull and the horse pictures on the wall. I also appreciate that there were television options besides Network TV and commercials. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Because we are asked to separate trash from recyclables, it would be good if the property provided receptacles for recyclables. There was very limited communication between the office and me before I arrived. But then the office emailed me each day, which was excessive. I don't need to be reminded……

Here are the pros and cons of our experience:Pros: clean, good location, good communication with host, comfortable bed, ample street parking.Cons: apartment is in the basement of an older house. There was a younger couple staying in the house (not the owners who said they were out of town). In the evenings, we could hear the thump of every step above our heads.
