Lovely, spacious quiet getaway in east truckee.

The property was really lovely, with lots of natural light and air. Common spaces were even better than pictured, my friends and family had a nice time settling down for a glass of wine and food after a long day at the fireplace! Hosts let us use their stereo system which added to the nice ambience. Owners were generous with staple items (things like dishwasher soap, shampoo, salt and pepper) which made the stay so much easier on us guests! The rest we had delivered from Raley's :) Beds had lots of layers and comfortable bedding; showers ran nicely hot, perfect for post skiing. We had two kids, 7 and 10, who loved using the sleds that the hosts provided for use in the garage. Property manager was very communicative and proactive (especially around some serious winter weather) and we really appreciated her prompt and helpful responses! Highly recommend!

Great experience

This was our second time at this house and we had a great experience again. Clean, super organized, and equipped with everything you need including the little things like spices, coffee filters, etc. so you don’t need to bring all that stuff. This time we spent hours on the large sunny deck that has a great view of the mountains. We took some walks and did a bike ride directly from the house without having to drive anywhere, really enjoyable. Quiet and private and a great place to relax. Highly recommend and we will be back again for the ski season.

Winter wonderland!

This place far exceeded our expectations -- the pictures looked really nice, but it's even better in person. The place was spotless, it was extremely comfortable, it has everything you could possibly need for a weekend in the snow (sleds, snowshoes, very well stocked kitchen, beautiful fireplace, and the views are amazing). I'm beyond picky and this place was on point. Nicole was awesome -- super easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions and had great recs of the area. I can't name anything that could be improved. We hope to be back!

Awesome experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was super clean and extremely well organized with everything we could possibly need. The host was great and everything was ready and available as promised and there was really good information about the cabin and the area. The location is fantastic, easily accessible and still secluded, quiet, and with a nice view of the mountains. It is a very cozy place with enough room for everyone without feeling too big. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great time in this house this weekend. The place is spotless, so well taken care of. The beds were so comfortable. The house is just as pictured. The massive backyard was great. It snowed while we were there and my daughters made a couple of sledding runs out back, and we built a snowman. We never saw any neighbors, it’s very Covid safe. The kitchen is well stocked, all the dishes, pots, etc you would need, but a full generous assortment of condiments, spices, etc available. I’ve never actually stayed in a house so we’ll stocked before. We loved the dryer so we could come home and dry all our wet snow clothes. We’ll definitely stay here again. We didn’t notice until after the booking that there’s no TV, but we brought one of our own with a Tivo so we could cuddle up and watch movies together at night. The location is a little remote, and the drive to the house isn’t plowed, so we did need to put chains on the car for about 300 feet in order to get in and out after the snowfall. The fed ex truck that stopped by right before we left actually got stuck, so keep that in mind when booking. But overall we can’t recommend this place enough!

Serenity of mini vacation

We are so grateful that this amazing, beautiful home and property was available for our mini famikt/birthday getaway. We made some memorable memories that were worth every bit. This home had everything you can think of. This will be the first of many more stays here. We loved this home.

Amazing and breathtaking

We decided we needed a quick getaway for our teens with remote learning starting in Aug. We were lucky to find that this gem was available. By far our favorite place to stay in the Sierra’s. The property was great and you can not beat the peace and beauty of their 20 acres. Nicole was awesome to work with very responsive. We will definitely return!!!
