Along with a fitness centre, this smoke-free holiday home has a hot tub and a children's pool. Additionally, laundry facilities and barbecues are on-site. The holiday home has 4 bedrooms and offers free WiFi and a fenced private garden. A kitchen comes with a fridge and an oven, and guests will also find upscale touches, such as a private hot tub and a fireplace. Housekeeping is available on request.

Beautiful, Well-Appointed Home

Our family of 6 adults, 1 13 month old and 1 dog had the pleasure of staying in this home. We had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, there were plenty of towels and bedding, space heaters and humidifiers, games, tvs, and a room off the entry to store all of our ski equipment. We will DEFINITELY stay here again next time we’re at Northstar!!!!

Honest Review

This place is amazing! You cannot beat the location. It is a short walk from the lifts. We had skiers and non skiers in our party and the closeness to the village made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves. The rooms are cozy and well furnished. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. Very comfy beds, sofas and overall living space. Management was communicative and responded quickly during the check in process and we had no issues gaining access to the property. My only comment is that to our surprise l, there is no pantry which was a bit of an issue since we stayed for a week. The oven blew a fuse and we couldn’t use it, management let us know a few days before our stay but they supplied toaster ovens for us to use so that resolved the issue. And there was no shampoo for the bathrooms which we found that at this level of pricing, they should at least provide basic shampoo, conditioner for the bathrooms. So bring your own. Also there was no dishwasher soap and detergent soap. We had to get our own which we also felt could’ve been easily stocked by the management company especially since check out instructions asked for us to start a load of towel laundry before check out. All minor things but just want to be honest about it. Definitely book this place tho. Amazing!

This was a nice house, and the location was great! However, we were a little disappointed that the house hadn't been properly cleaned. It seemed like it had been vacant for a while because we killed 24 spiders, ( we started counting because there were so many) there was a lot of dust on the furniture, including a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fan on the fourth floor. In addition, some if the utensils that were in the drawer were not properly cleaned. I would have also expected the sheets to be a little better quality and for them to fit the bed for the amount of money we paid.

This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in Northstar thus far. The comfort and spaciousness of the home coupled with the prime location (very close to the village, but just far enough away to get some peace and quiet), was awesome. Very close walk to the pool/spa/clubhouse too. I will definitely try to stay here again and highly recommend.

The Village Walk Townhome was perfect. It was in a great location and allowed us to walk to the Northstar Village and walk to the trails for hiking. The house had everything we needed and the fact that each bedroom had a bathroom was a plus. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Home, Amazing Location

This place was absolutely fantastic, and really just steps from the lifts. Plenty of space for large groups, and the private hot tub was really a treat. Overall I would highly recommend. The only frustration was the quality of the amenities, small and worn towels, not good soaps, shampoo, etc...just not what you would expect at this price point.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

We loved our stay at this beautiful house! The home was perfectly maintained, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Perfectly located a leisurely stroll to Northstar Village. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this house! 5 stars for sure! ***One word of caution for families with a crawling baby or a new walker, there are a lot of flights of wood stairs in here, if this is your age baby I would either bring 2 portable baby gates or pick a different house, a fall down those stairs would be detrimental.

Great home

Spacious home with large windows and high ceilings. Very clean. Only suggestion would be to get an electronic padlock door - the combination lock was hard to open and only had 1 key. Other than that our stat was great.

The lower floor was freezing, the middle continuously changed from hot to cold and the third floor was too hot to sleep and if you opened the door and window as suggested with the fan it was hard to sleep because of the noise outside even during the night. Otherwise all was fine!

Pros- Amazing location, Townhome is lovely, Property Management was very responsive. Would definitely book properties through Tahoe Getaways in the future. Cons- For the price, a bit disappointed at some aspects. Upkeep did not appear to be of the highest quality. For example, some window blinds were broken or very difficult to maneuver, there were broken window levers, some appliances did not work, laundry was left in the dryer, areas of the flooring were not clean.

Two of the four bathrooms had non-functioning showers. One was partially repaired while we were there. The repair person said they would be back but didn't return. Need larger skillet/fry pan in kitchen. Otherwise minor maintenance needed (broken socket face plates, slider on main doesn't lock, dog hair, etc).

The Good and the Bad

This four bedroom / four bath home was perfect for our 3-generation group. It was a good size and in good condition and the seven of us enjoyed our stay. We chose this home because it was of the few advertised to have air conditioning. The problem was there was absolutely zero A/C in the top floor - main bedroom making for uncomfortable sleeping conditions and the lower level bedrooms were a good twenty degrees colder than the main level. The kitchen could certainly be better equipped with some sharp knives and a frying pan bigger than 8 inches. We were told in no uncertain terms that "this was a private home and should not expect to be equipped like a hotel room." So after stopping to purchase TP, etc., we were pleased to find adequate stocking yet wishing we had a better indication of what we needed to purchase in advance. When we experienced a problem with the main level TV we were very pleased with the responsiveness of getting a technician out to the house, albeit an unmasked one. We were less pleased with the "Good News" messages we received offering us the opportunity to pay more money to get in a little earlier than the 4:00 PM check-in or stay later than the 10:00 AM check-out. If the house was ready, why not let us check-in 30 minutes early rather than push the lock-box code out at exactly 4:00 PM, other than maybe to try to squeeze and extra $75 out of us? All in, a good but not great experience.

Beautiful...once upon a time

I would be providing a more critical review, however, there are very few dog friendly properties and it is only fair to consider with respect to all the other rentals I have experienced that allow dogs as Village Walk Townhouse does. The location is excellent and the Townhouse is well laid out with ample separation if you have more than one family. However, the house is in serious need of maintenance and updating. Thankfully, Tahoe Properties phoned to say that the oven did not work nor the stove ignitor. I had already a prepared a baked salmon dish and the heads up was helpful. I later found that the overhead fan and lights were defective which greatly challenged cooking efforts. The items found to be broken are too numerous to list, but, I called for help on two items: the front door latch which stuck and locked people out and repair of the kitchen fan, a safety hazard in my opinion. Tahoe Properties sent a handyman out who made some adjustments to the door, but, it was basically the same, still a broken latch. Also, he said an electrician would come later that day for the fan as he had no idea how to repair, but, we never heard from anyone. Generally, I found Tahoe Properties to be responsive and helpful. Many of the appliances and fixtures need replacement or significant repair that is well beyond the scope of Property Management. I try to keep my own rental properties always well maintained so I will not have a batch of repairs and updates to do all at once and the property stays consistent with others in the neighborhood, not viewed as the 'rental'.

great property for a large family. Plenty of room to relax, entertain, and have dinner. Great locale within Northstar. The property is starting to show some minor wear & tear and needs some tlc. The master bedroom is definitely warmer than the rest of the house (YMMV). we'll definitely come back!

Amazing location with lots of amenities

This property is located in a GREAT location. Walking to North Star and about 15 minutes from Truckee, the lake and all sorts of other fun activities in Tahoe. House is very spacious, dog friendly, and very comfortable. It is a vacation rental so a few things were broken and need some TLC but overall no real complaints. The house was very clean. It was very well stocked with kitchen stuff, towels etc. Washer and dryer were great. Jacuzzi was awesome! There is a pool and another spa that you can use that is literally across the street. We stayed for 10 days and had my parents for a few days and family friends for the rest of the time. The property was enjoyed by all ages! I would definitely come back here!

Virus house

We arrived Thursday for a stay that will last until Sunday. After a lot of coughing on my part my daughter tested me for Covid and found out that I was positive. I went to the hospital for a confirmation and it was confirmed that I had Covid., After that it was like rats leaving a sinking ship. I tried to cancel the remaining time but that was denied. I went home on Friday along with some other family members, and a few of the family actually stayed until Sunday and we're having a good time. One of those family members who stayed behinds has Covid now.
