「Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...

「Amazing property and very clean. The only suggestion I would make is for the property management to email the access key information rather than text it to guests with international numbers. I never received the information so I had to call and that resulted in a delay in check-in. Other than that everything was perfect. 」

「Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. 「I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. 「Perfect place to stay for a young family and dog! Great size rooms, safe and secure garden, and everything you could need for a short break. Lots of lovely local walks - including to the coastal path, and information left at the property to help you find local places to visit. The owners of the property were very helpful and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!」

「Lovely spacious lodge which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Pleasant to sit on patio and enjoy the views. The holiday park is large and if you or any one in your group has mobility issues a car is a must - there is a steep slope/hill leading to treetops. The lodge is located in a quiet area of the park. Owners Adria and Steve next door and available if needed. Lovely location to explore Devon :)」

「This cottage is one of the best equipped holiday homes we have stayed in. It was a comfortable home from home. The cottage is close to local shops and restaurants, as well the bus stop for the short ride to the harbour and shopping area. We would highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the Torquay area.」

「We stayed at Wisteria Cottage for 6 days in April 2024 and can only recommend this cottage: it was very clean and all the necessary things for daily use are available. The location in Topsham is great as you can walk to many restaurants and pubs. The cottage is right on the High Street but we didn't find the traffic disturbing. In short, we would come back at any time.」

「Well equipped one bedroom barn conversion in a secluded location. This was a real find and the ideal place for us to stay with our two dogs. This is a great base for exploring the local area. The hosts, Margaret, Ron and Sue were very friendly and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. This is probably the best self catering accommodation that we have stayed in. 「We had a fantastic week enjoying the area, so much to do and see. Deb was brilliant and was on hand for any issues that we had. We didn't have any, but did request a few items in the kitchen, and they appeared within hours and with no queries at all. A great place for the family in a very friendly and welcoming village.
