Peace and beauty

This house was extremely open and roomy with views from all over the house of the river out back. We’ve traveled quite a bit and this was one of our most enjoyable places to stay. It’s very peaceful and beautiful. We would certainly consider renting this house again in the future.

Location great and view beautiful!! However, shower stalls moldy, screen door broken, dishwasher does not work, need more directions for TV, need landline for emergencies, bathrooms need thorough scrubbing. Not quite up to expectations. Overall rating “3”.

Loved the waterfall

This house was beautifully furnished, well appointed, and sparkling clean. The rooms were just as described and the host and the booklet left in house gave clear guidance for everything we needed to know. The linens were hotel quality and the kitchen had everything we needed except zipper baggies. The sound of the river was mesmerizing and after a bit of rain the waterfall was even more beautiful. While it may seem trivial to some, one big joy was having enough towels for a family of 6 - a rental we had last summer did not even have one per person. The host was responsive to questions quickly. While in the summer we seek a place with a lake, this is definitely our go-to place for spring or fall.

Beautiful home and vacation spot

I would highly recommend this property. The stream in the back yard was perfect for my kids and they caught a large number of brook and brown trout. The house was really nice and was warm and inviting. We will rent here again.

Heavenly Escape

Booked for a family reunion vacation. The sounds of the water/waterfall was wonderful, property beautiful. Grandchildren caught trout in the stream that we cooked on the gas range. It really felt like a home away from home. Evenings by the firepit. We will be booking return vacation.

Wonderful property and home - comfortable, clean and dog friendly.

What a wonderful time we had at this home. We stayed here for 6 days over Thanksgiving weekend. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful with everything, and checked in regularly via email to make sure all was going well. The main house and guest house are both very clean, inviting and comfortable. Beds and linens were super comfortable. Great views from all rooms. Upstairs in the main house there’s a bedroom with a large bath and the rest of the upstairs has a living area, 2 trundle beds and a bunk bed, so it’s a wonderful space for kids. The guest house has a large screened in wrap around porch with beautiful views as well. The property is very dog friendly as well.
