Beautiful resort style backyard

Beautiful backyard with pool and jacuzzi along with some amazing views of the mountains. The sunsets were spectacular.

Backyard is a 10 as are the hosts

The location of the house was ideal and the house was large enough to accommodate visiting family members. The outdoor area was private and had a great mountain view. The hot top and pool were immaculate. The flow was inviting. Two smaller bedrooms were indeed small. The house was very serviceable and the hosts provided a lot of extras: plenty of shampoo, soap, paper products, etc. Everything in the house worked, but the house is dated, so bathrooms, kitchen and appliances were old. The hosts were on-hand as needed and very accommodating.

Great stay

Stayed here with our two adult daughters and their partners. Lovely, comfortable house and pool great for relaxing. Good places to eat nearby. We did a lot of early morning hikes and a trip up Mt Lemon all easily accessible from this area. Look forward to returning.

One of our best VRBOs!

This property was superlative in every respect: the attentive hosts, the well maintained pool and hot tub, the spacious, beautiful house, complete with everything we needed, the large backyard, suitable for entertaining friends of all ages, the well-equipped and spacious kitchen and dining areas indoors and outside, the gorgeous mountains and desert on all sides. This is an ideal spot for a family reunion.

Awesome Property

There are many positives to share about this property such as comfortable beds, plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen and lots of comfortable seating, but, by far, the backyard is the highlight and very impressive. Hubby and I enjoyed watching sunrises, sunsets, stars and a lightening show off in the distance above the mountains. The pool and spa are very clean and well-maintained. We can’t wait to return.

U of A Family Weekend

A view to die for

This property has a view to die for and a good location for getting just about anywhere in Tucson. There was a problem with the cleanliness of the house but it was resolved quickly by the owners.

This was a great place to stay.

I am a return customer at this location and will be back in the future. Location is perfect, the inside is full of light, clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive with questions but also provided lots of information on what to do in the area. I enjoyed the place very much.

Beautiful and convenient location

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We used the kitchen fully to cook and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Thanks to this house we enjoyed spectacular views of the mountains and the sunsets were truly unbeatable. I highly recommend this place! The hosts were very helpful and friendly as well.

Great Spot!

The house was spacious and comfy. The best part was the outdoor space - you could sit by the pool, around the fire pit or the outside dining area. It fit two families of three easily. The view from the backyard was great! Super friendly hosts also!

Perfect house with all the comforts!

We absolutely loved this beautiful home! The neighborhood was peaceful and easy to find. The house was so well stocked and furnished with everything you could possibly need! Wonderful Home - Great Communication

We were very lucky to find such a wonderful home with beautiful views for our Thanksgiving in Tucson. The house is very well equipped for our family meal and was extremely clean and accommodating. The hosts are extremely kind and communicative. We will always check to see if this home is available for our next trips to Tucson.

Exceptional Experience!

We have stayed at several VRBO properties. This may have been our best overall experience! Jana called shortly after we arrived to check to make sure that everything was okay. She called again midstay to ask if there was anything that we needed. We appreciated this very much as we had had experience with a property manager who was not in the same time zone and didn’t respond to our concerns. Jana was always quick to respond to our texts, even though we didn’t have any concerns! The front and back yards are beautiful! So nice to be able to relax outside! The pictures of the inside of the house don’t do it justice! The master bedroom and the en-suite are especially roomy and comfortable! And everything was very clean and well-stocked! As we sit in our townhome this morning, we are really missing the amenities this property has to offer and HIGHLY recommend it for your stay!!

Wonderful stay at Shadow Hills

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful month at Shadow Hills. We had never been to Tucson--and never rented a vacation home for more than one week--so we did not know exactly what to expect. But from the moment we booked our time, Jana and Andy could not have been more helpful, responsive hosts. And the recommendations they provided in terms of restaurants and activities made our stay even more enjoyable. The house itself was just the right size for the two of us and our two small dogs and was very comfortable. It is located in a neighborhood that is both incredibly quiet, while also being conveniently located. But the best thing about the house is the backyard and the view. The view!! Wow! There is so much to do in and around Tucson, but our very favorite thing to do was sit on the beautiful patio and watch the light change on the mountains at sunset. We could not have been happier with our stay and hope we get the opportunity to return to Tucson one day. If we do, we will definitely stay at Shadow Hills again.
