"My husband and I stayed in early October. The owners had taken time and care to fully decorate for the season. They created a very inviting atmosphere for their guests. Outside, the leaves were beginning to turn, and there were lots of deer. Although the house could accommodate more people, it was perfect for us. The screened porch had an electric fireplace and TV (ideal for evenings and football.) The bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable. I can imagine how much fun this place is in the summer, but I can highly recommend this location if you want a beautiful Fall Getaway. "

"We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Hartwell. The home was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Drinking our coffee in the morning on the boat dock, watching the sun rise and the fish jump was a wonderful way to start the day. Great location between Greenville and Atlanta with easy access to the upcountry. Peter was very prompt with communications and very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. We would highly recommend his cottage on the lake!"

"Beautiful property on the lake. The house accommodated 8 adults and 4 children easily. The house amenities were nice and the yard and lake area were very well kept.The property manager was kind and very helpful with the few questions we had.I would highly recommend this property."

"The house was very comfortable, clean and well-equiped with cooking utensils, etc. The walk to the lake was a bit of a trek for an 80 year old with a bad leg, but not bad. The walkway was clean and make the slope manageable. The dock was very nice! Loved the swing and seating on the dock. Would definitely rent again."
