Top hotel in Tulbagh

We had a great stay at the hotel for 4 days in December. Nice big room. Really good food and good wines, and even at a very reasonable price. The service at the hotel was excellent and everyone was very helpful.

Great location in the town. Excellent staff.

Very friendly hotel. Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Good evening meal. Secure parking. Owing to a mix up in the booking we did not actually stay in a Heritage room, which was a shame. However, the downgrade was dealt with amicably.

Friendly Tulbach

What a treat to stay in a hotel where the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I was amazed by the staff’s attention to detail whether front desk, security guy in the street, waiters, kitchen staff or cleaning staff. It was lively to see how you all were so proud of what you did. Thank you for a lovely stay.

An absolute “gem”

Absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive until you leave your made to feel at home. Staff are very efficient & literally go out of there way to help & assist you. Our room was beautiful & clean & has everything one needs. The hotels Electrical back up system is a great “extra bonus”

A great hotel to stop off and enjoy Tulbagh

The Tulbagh Heritage Boutique Hotel is excellent. I did not like my first night there because the room was very noisy, being above the restaurant, but the second night was sublime as the room was beautiful and situated across the road from the main hotel in a heritage building. The food was very good and I ate at the restaurant twice, and equally the breakfast was delicious - best fresh squeezed orange juice I have had for many a year... Leana the Manager was very efficient and quite delightful. Staff excellent and so helpful. All in all a great stay.

Really wonderful getaway!

my wife and I were surprised at how friendly the staff were and how accomodating. The hotel is really a pleasure to stay, nothing was lacking, rooms were clean and shower was great plus it's right in the center of town so great for walking around. Even the restaurant food was top class. This is the first time I have given any hotel a top rated review all around and yes, definitely worth every cent.

"Simply the Best"

Location, friendly staff, service, food and facilities were superb. The only negative is the long staircase to the rooms which was a bit uncomfortable for the older people.
