"Clean modern rooms and amenities. Friendly staff. Great views from property. Access road steep and potholed but my rental car did fine. Excellent breakfast at restaurant up the hill. Macho Falls nearby down at the base of the hill."

"The grounds are just spectacular. The colors of all the plants and landscaping in general was amazing. We have eaten lunch there before but decided to spend the night. The room was spacious and even had a covered patio. The food, as always, was also excellent. Nice break from the heat of the beach. I highly recommend spending some time exploring the Golden Frog. "

"The property is overall tidy with a large, covered terrace and a garden. The owner treated me as a friend giving me good advice and any possible assistance, for instance bicycles are available free of charge. He keeps a friendly dog welcoming every guest without any harm. The house is located beside a stream of fresh mountain water. I'd like to come again."

"Now this is beach living. First, our Host was fantastic. When we arrived we didn't have an iron and ironing board, no hangers and a piece of the coffee maker was missing. She was there in no time with all of that brand new stuff. She also left us a nice bottle of wine and some chocolates. The place was gorgeous with clean sheets and towels, nice furniture, working Hot Water, Televisions in every room, ceiling fans throughout, really functional kitchen (with cleaning products, microwave, air fryer, quality pots and pans) and grounds/views to die for. The only let down was that we could not access the Lagoon which we understand is reserved for owners and not short-timers like us. Nevertheless, we had a ball at the Property, from the Town Center stores and restaurant to the pools (each building has its own) and the beach. Security is tight to get onto the property and then to get into your building the first time. Thereafter the Staff knows you and are very engaging and helpful. We didn't make it to the resort but understand they have day passes and lovely accomodations. There are stores and shops also right off the site, which was useful when getting groceries. Health care isnt far off (not much right there on site) but in nearby Coronado. Overall we would love to come back and stay longer. The beach was nice and wide allowing for horses and ATV use. Although mostly Canadians at Playa Blanca many others visited as well."

"The cabins are clean and had everything I needed in a beautiful setting. Communication was excellent and Dennis and his two sweet dogs were very welcoming. It is a pleasant walk into town for meals, and Dennis gave me several rides either into town or to a birding location that allowed me to walk back. The grounds are lovely and relaxing and I saw a number of birds there. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or to recommend to friends or family."
