Good times.

Family had a great time. Great nearby hiking, hot tub ,sitting around the fire. Beautiful part of the river for canoeing and pedal boat was fun.

Very nice home, needs a little TLC.

The house is located in a nice quiet setting and is really nice but it does need some TLC. Many aspects of the property are aging (kitchen drawer won't stay closed, BBQ should really be replaced, leaky toilet, other little issues that are really of no great concern). With a little TLC, I believe this is a beautiful home for rental.

A lovely quiet spot!

Beautiful home on a river! The home was well kept, beds were comfortable, linens were clean, and it was well stocked. Owner(s) left treats and activities for the kids. It made them feel welcome and comfortable in the space. The only negative was that the house was very dusty. Didn’t seem like it was vacuumed or dusted before we arrived. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful, relaxing spot, with a clean, well maintained hot tub! Owner was kind and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great property, very clean and beautifully home, great for outdoor activities since they provide canoes kayaking paddle boats by the river and have a volleyball/badminton net.

Beautiful ranch style cottage

Just spent the weekend at this beautiful ranch style cottage with some friends and our kids. Cottage location was perfect for us. It had great water activities, fire pit and hot tub! A lot of single bed options for sleeping but only 2 beds for couples which was a little difficult as we had 3 couples but made the den work the this couple. Town is 12 minutes away with a really cute ice cream place and grocery store. We all have a fantastic weekend here!

Tweed, ON Rural Retreat

Three artist friends and I enjoyed our stay in Tweed. This house with its fun, funky decor, was great for a reunion of four friends, who wanted to visit and chat into the night. It enabled each of us to have their own bedroom. We enjoyed the location, which is near the Tweed textile workshop we attended. The house is quite large, with a rustic hunting lodge motif. It is well furnished with many amenities and attention to detail. The river is lovely, although we were busy at our workshop with no time for paddling or swimming. Bullfrogs serenaded us! Unfortunately, since covid it can be difficult to find competent housekeepers. The house could use a deep cleaning. Nazmul was responsive, friendly and cares about his property. Overall, we had a very good experience. I would recommend this house for groups who enjoy the outdoors.
