Perfect for relaxing and recharging

My family and I stayed at this property after traveling extensively across New Zealand. We very much enjoyed the homey and comfortable feel. The communication with Andrea was phenomenal! Andrea was easy to connect with and ask questions as well as providing the necessary information. We enjoyed the small town feel of Twizel while still having ready access to the dark sky preserve and Mount Cook. I highly recommend this location!

Great holiday home

Stayed two nights with a family of 8. The weather was fine so we cooked and ate outside...good BBQ and lounge area outside. The inside lounge/kitchen area was small for the size of our group. Most things in the kitchen and pantry, but overall a well appointed property in a handy location.

Peaceful family bach near Aoraki Mount Cook

We had a great time in this lovely holiday bach. We chose it due to its proximity to Aoraki Mount Cook where we did some day hikes and because it looked so cosy and other guests had mentioned how well set up for families and clean it was. We loved playing the board games at night and we used the bikes for a lovely ride along the river. It was very clean and well looked after and we hope to visit again in the near future. Great communication with the host - - we felt well looked after even before checking in. We all loved our stay!

Well setup house with lots of beds and everything you need. Easy walk from back fence gate to the town centre. Good heating for our middle of winter stay. Host helpful, although we did not need to ask for anything

This has been a home away from home for us during our road trip around south island in June. The house is well equipped for all of our needs and much more! Using the bikes to cycle around the neighbourhood marked our first experience cycling in winter! :)
