Last renovation was done well, beautiful property with good views. Bar height chairs to get your site line above deck rails would make it better. Mattress was terrible, no support left. Property management company came and flipped/rotated but made no difference. Would not have rented property if I had known condition of mattress. Otherwise, was a nice place.

Pictures look better than in person - rental co awful!!
First off, I was very surprised once we got into the condo at how the pictures looked so much better than in person. One HUGE flaw is the sliding bathroom door which cannot close all the way. How it is designed leaves a large gap on one side… no privacy… As far as cleanliness, it was ok but looked like what you get in a hotel. Probably a quick run through by cleaning staff without really taking time to clean. I found hair on the floor and in the shower. One thing I also didn’t like was that they gave you one small hotel soap to wash your hands with… I expected at least a small bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. Other than that, this condo was good.
My worst experience here was with the rental company. We came down on a Monday and couldn’t find the office. We had to call to get directions… for some reason my gps wasn’t registering the address. That was t a huge deal and someone answered and helped me. You don’t actually see anyone, just pick up a packet with your keys inside… no biggie. The problem came the next day. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene decided to come our way so we decided to leave early to miss it. The 2nd day (Tues) I called the rental office several times and even left a message and no one would answer or call back. I wanted to see if we would be getting any notifications about the hurricane. Finally when we were headed to the store that afternoon, we stopped by the office bc we couldn’t reach anyone. The girl looked surprised when I rang The
This unit was wonderful. Right out our door shrimp boats was anchored almost the entire day and night the 2 days we were there. We did not want to leave. Everything needed in the kitchen and more than enough towels and wash cloths. Thank you and can’t wait to return. I suggest anyone looking for lodging on Tybee Island is to stay on North End, eat at Pier 16. Spare yourselves for Fannie’s (changed for the worse) 35 years coming here and the best is always Beach and Racquet Club.
Wonderful location with gorgeous view of the water. Unit was tastefully decorated. Great time riding our bikes, reading at the beach/pool and enjoying delicious seafood.
Condo was newly remodeled & updated, extremely clean, had everything you’d need while away from home. Go no further than the balcony to watch sunsets, dolphins, shrimp boats, container ships making their way out to sea. We had an excellent time on Tybee Island & making the short drive to experience Savannah. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Excellent Property!
Brand new furnishings throughout with an updated remodel! Especially loved the bathroom-with ample supply of towels for a 3 day stay for 2 and a washer/dryer combo! Had new appliances and a cart with coffee pot, keurig and toaster with 2 large shelves for storage. The pullout couch, table and chairs and bed were extremely comfortable as were the cozy linens. The Condo and floors were spotless and the barn doors for the bathroom and bedroom were awesome! Large closet with hangers, iron/ board.
The balcony was perfect for views of the water, ships and sunsets!
Easy and close access to pool, beach and parking. Has an elevator waaaaaay down the hallway but chose to use the flight and a half of stairs by side parking spot!
2 really good open air restaurants at the corner of the street and had a very easy access to 80 and downtown Tybee and just a short 15 minute ride to Savannah!
I hope to come back to this unit soon!
And I highly recommend it!
Thank you from Michigan!
We stayed in the ‘off’ season- many of the units weren’t occupied. Rules of the complex are many, but it’s to keep the place quiet and clean. Parking was ample- our welcome pack of was helpful in deciding places to eat and activities. The setup is unique to walk directly into the bedroom when you open the door, but they were creative in hiding the hallway window with a map for privacy. If we ever come back to Tybee, we would definitely look into renting here, or with the same vacation rental company, again.
Awesome views, clean, upgraded everything, well stocked kitchen, walking distance to restaurants & stores, easy access to beach & pool. Must be able to do stairs.
The quietness of the beach and the restriction of noise after 10:00 p.m. was the selling point for us as we are older and didn't want to be involved in the night life that often occurs on islands.
Renting this Tybee Island property was easy, and Tybee Vacation Rentals was very efficient in communicating all the details we needed (about checking in, accessing our unit, parking and the like). The only issue we had was with the TV, and TVR sent a maintenance person over on the weekend almost immediately after we’d called. We received follow up texts asking about our stay and providing us with check out procedures. We loved the location on the quiet north end of the island, convenient to a coffee cafe and what we discovered were the most unique shops on the island, all of which were a short walk away. I do wish the swimming pool had been heated, but this is a minor issue in an otherwise lovely stay at the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club in our ocean-facing condo a few steps from the beach.
I really enjoyed this place and the location. The unit is as described and is in a beautiful location. I did not like the inconvenience of having to drive to a different location to pick up and drop off keys. Also, we were required to take out the trash or otherwise incur a fee. With a housekeeping fee I do not believe we should be required to empty all the trash cans and find a dumpster for such a short stay.
My husband and I had a great getaway to Tybee Island. Our condo was so cute and newly updated. Great view, we loved seeing all the dolphins. Also, just a short walk down to the pool and the beach! Highly recommend and would stay here again.
