We stayed in the one bedroom villa with private pool and rice field view, which was amazing. Our room had rice fields all around it, and we could enjoy the sunset over the fields. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We couldn’t fault them. The included breakfast tasted wonderful, with plenty of options. We also ate and drank and the restaurant and was some of the best food we had in Ubud. Our pool was a great size, and lovely to be able to sit outside and cool down in our own area. The hotel is located outside of the main busy area of central Ubud, which was perfect for us. And it meant the view of and walking amongst the plants was such a nice feeling. It does mean we had the occasional ant or gecko in our room, but it didn’t bother us at all. It is definitely a hotel we would come back to. Our only request and change would be to have some sort of privacy for the toilet, it was just a glass door which was okay for us but feel this could be changed in the future.

Ein sehr familiäres Hotel. Da es nicht zu viele Unterkünfte (ca. 30 Unterkünfte) hat, ist die Anlage sehr überschaubar, und auch das Personal sehr persönlich. Uns hat das extrem gefallen. Zudem liegt es in einer wunderbar ruhigen Ecke und wunderschön in die Reisfelder eingebettet. Für uns war es ein so toller Aufenthalt, dass wir unsere nachfolgende Reise unterbrochen haben und noch die zusätzlichen 3 Tage verlängerten.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The food was good, delicious and clean. All the staff was amazing and respectful especially Purnami- she’s the best!!! I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Hotel is absolutely beautiful!! The location is safe!!, however kind of annoying to enter and leave from as very windy roads. Also the rooms were a hike to get to and from, but it's kind of private in a way. The rooms are super clean, towels replaced each day and room cleaned each day, and the staff were all super friendly! Limited dining options at hotel restaurant, the food wasn't the best. I was very happy with my stay!!

This is a gorgeous location. I love the rooms ( I have booked both the single wooden rooms and the doubles ). The staff is amazing. I always feel like they def get trained and educated in how to offer excellent customer service. There is also a lovely coffee shop ( plus other things, like a paddle tennis club ) within a 5 min walking distance. I only have positive things to share.

I cant express enough how lovely the staff is at the kalyana. This is my second trip here and I will always stay here for a few days. The rooms are absolutely beautiful( I get so many comments about how gorgeous it when people look at my photos ). I have stayed in both types of villas( the wood and the marble ) and have zero complaints about either. Both are lovely stays. I love the morning breakfasts. Perfect before exploring the city. I would take a dip every day in the main pool and my private pool. Water is always a perfect temp. I also have to admit, the grounds and common area is very very gorgeous. Just beautiful. One of my simple joys was just reading in the tub. And I have to say again, the staff is world class. I have stayed and traveled to some amazing places and I always think that the service here is easily 5 star service every single time. They are attentive, accommodating, and always courteous.
