Amazing experience

All staff are very helpful. Nice location and we enjoyed many excursions. Love this small island,ppl are very nice and not so many tourists.

I was very dissatisfied with both the Ukulhas Beach Inn and Expedia. I will never use Expedia again as long as I live. The property falsely advertised many things about their hotel that simply were not true. They said the bed was a king size bed and it wasn't even a queen. It was a full or double size bed. The hotel also advertised they had a gym and they didn't. There was a gym on the island but had been closed due to covid 19 for many months. They show a larger menu for breakfast items than what they offer. If you want a traditional breakfast they have to order it from a local restaurant and go pick it up. Some days it wasn't available. The biggest issue with us was the WIFI which was very weak signal if it worked at all. The manager was very rude about it and said it was our fault for watching Netflix and using too much data. I told them it was immoral and illegal to advertise they had amenities when they didn't work or were not available. On the day before we checked out we found out that the reason the WIFI was so slow because 4 devices in the owner's home were using the hotel WIFI. We stayed there for a month with slow or no WIFI at all and then found out the real reason. We would have never known the truth if it wasn't displayed on the TV screen. The house boy was the only good thing about the property. The manager was rude from the very beginning so we tried to avoid him. I asked to talk to the owner to express my concerns but never answered his phone

Mukava paikka jossa todella hyvä palvelu ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Tilava huone jossa tehokas ilmastointi. Loistava aamiainen, voit valita useasta eri vaihtoehdosta ja päättää jopa itse aamiaisen ajankohdan. Kaunis puutarha. Hyvät retket! Rauhallinen sijainti sivukadulla, lähellä upeaa rantaa. Hyvä Wifi. éxéptionnel et magnifique

nous rentrons a peine et nous voulons déjà y retourner !!! l'équipe d'ukulhas inn est formidable , ils nous ont fais nager avec de très belles rays manta , nous avons péché de très gros poissons suivi d'un barbecue le soir, visité plusieurs iles voisine dont certaines sont désertes avec des plongées en masque et tuba sublime avec des tortues , énormément de poissons et de magnifique coraux et tous ça dans une eau cristalline . il y a plusieurs restaurants très correct bon et a bas prix , des petites boutiques d'alimentation ou s'approvisionnent les maldiviens. Une ile très accueillante et magnifique que nous recommandons vivement. Un grand merci a toute l'équipe d'Ukulhas Inn , qui nous ont fait vivre 10 jours inoubliable , nous reviendrons !!

Gret stay and trios in Maldives in inexpensive way

Ukulhas Inn is suitable for all Maldives visitors who prefer to save on accommodation and have more budget for making trips which are always good to do in those beautiful country. It's very I interesting to stay in the middle of Ukulhas island/ village and see how people live there. The people are nice and like tourists. I would like to thank Shifaz snd all stuff in this guesthouse and wish them lots if good guests.

Real Maldives experience

if you want to see local Maldives and great reefs, there is a place for you. The owner is very helpful and can take you to the best reefs in the area. There is also a private beach with white sands and nice reefs. We had romantic dinner there - unforgettable!!! You can get there by ferry (takes 4 hours) or by speed boat (2 hours) and you will not regret it. The local people are very friendly to the tourists and Shifaz and his employee are doing their best to make you feeling there like at home!

Not what I bargained for

I was eaten alive by bugs on the beach area that was theirs and while I was sleeping. Biting flies. Ukulhas is very remote, which was fine, but it was not disclosed to me beforehand that I would have to pay $50 to get there. The only other option is a ferry that takes 4 hours. Bed was hard as a rock. Killed my back. Little tiny ants everywhere. Tv didn't work properly if you cared to watch at any point. Internet sporadic at best. Male airport does not have WiFi until you're in the boarding area.

Basic hotel close to beach

Ukulhas Inn is a standard hotel on a local island. The rooms are simple but spacious and the breakfast is delicious (try the local options). The staff are helpful in arranging trips and the ferry ride over to the island. If you want a budget trip, it's a good option. It's a very quiet island but the beach is nice and you can wear a bikini and swim. They can arrange a variety of activities and a dive shop will open on the island soon. At the moment, diving is possible but expensive as it's run from the neighbouring island. Restaurants on the island are limited, so lunches and dinners are pretty basic.

Нас встретили на пирсе, по приезду подали кокос - welcome drink, в номере ждала тарелка с фруктами, коктейль и вода. Гестхаус очень небольшой, комнаты маленькие, но очень чистые. Сантехника в отличном состоянии с горячей водой. Постель и полотенца чистые. Есть кондиционер и вентилятор, жк-телевизор и кабельное, но на время нашего пребывания оно не работало. Служащие очень дружелюбные, приглашали к себе домой на традиционный завтрак. Есть свой пляж, где можно купаться в бикини. В отеле выдаются бесплатно маски (однако маски лучше брать свои, т.к.местные протекают), трубки и ласты. Ресторан находится далеко от геста, работает до 23-00, в пятницу с 15-00. Собственный пляж маленький, сразу кораллы, для купания необходимо брать с собой тапочки. В воде можно посмотреть рыбок и кораллы. Постоянно слышно трансформатор. Стоимость доп услуг, таких, как рыбалка, барбекю и т.д. высока.
